Fantastic stay
Really amazing hotel, fantastic location, room was spotlessly clean. Staff at hotel were so friendly and welcoming, reception staff, housekeeping members of staff as well as ladies working in the breakfast room. I will without doubt be back.

Great location
Great location for exploring Amsterdam. Not the most luxurious but an ideal base to explore from. Furnishings a little tired and single beds for very slim people. Hopefully the renovations will resolve the above. Staff very pleasant and a good breakfast available that you can turn up for, if not prebooked.

Great Value- not a lot of frills, good location
Good Location for the train station and ferries. A short walk to get to the action of Amsterdam City Center. This is an old building converted to a hotel and it's rather loud - you can hear people in the halls and floors above easily. No Frills- but the place is good- I'd go back. But- I would get a room on as high of a floor as possible to reduce the noise and get some sort of view- our room didn't have a view- just the building next door. Super Nice staff, clean..

Room itself was good and spacious, beds need improving (however being stoned i could say it was good enough), Floors have carpets and it may look clean but it was old and there were some stains, shower drains stink (sewage problem i believe), water pressure wasn't too good (but they did have nice hot water after a rainy cold evening) and shower needs a glass door as every time we had a shower the bathroom floor would get wet. Cleaner did a great job changing our wet towels, providing fresh bed sheets and throwing our rubbish. Also receptionist are very welcoming and helpful with any questions i asked.

Really happy with my stay at Hotel Mansion. The staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel is located on a very convenient place, close to the Station and just a short walk away from all the restaurants, shops and sights. I would highly recommend! Thank you for a great stay!

It was a great place with view of Canal. Quiet and very clean. Staff were friendly. It is at waking distance from central station to shopping and dining.

It was an okay stay however not the best. The main problem was that our room was placed on the top 3rd floor and the lift only went up to the second floor so we had to walk up a very steep set of stairs with our heavy suitcases, and also I guess we were staying next to the 2 floor suites as the building is quite old we could constantly hear people walking and moving around on the floor above the bedroom. Also the towels that were provided to us when housekeeping visited were ripped and torn and the mattress was very very worn not the cleanest to be honest. I won’t be staying here again for those reasons as I’ve stayed in much better accommodations in Amsterdam before.

Terrible hotel
Hotel is dirty and old. Worn out carpeting, torn towels and basically third rate. Any better rating is either fake or a lie. I would not stay here again if the room was free. The pictures are totally misleading. We booked a double room and we’re given a tiny triple with no dressers or places to put your clothing.

This hotel was really clean and had a great location. It was walkable to most points of interest as well as restaurants and bars. I think the twin beds were smaller than average though and I could hear the people upstairs walking around.

Located opposite the floating Chinese restaurant near Central Station in a quieter area of the city. We have stayed in Amsterdam 20 times so we were fully aware of the City Tax and this was calculated in advance by the booking site we used so there were no surprises when we arrived. There is building work going on in the hotel that we weren’t aware of until we had checked in and reached the lift, nothing was mentioned at reception during check in, or on their website. We were woken early by builders which us left feeling tired during our short trip as we were unable to sleep in. Would have been nice to have been made aware of this before booking so we still had the option to change hotels. Overall the hotel is ok. The rooms are very small, but not a problem if you just want somewhere to lay your head after a day of sightseeing. We would say the reception area and front of the building is that of a 4* but the rest of the hotel is a 3. Front door is locked from midnight so you’ll need to knock the front door to be let in. Glad we found a deal online as in our honest opinion, this hotel isn’t worth full price. Beds were comfy, hangers in the single wardrobe, but no fridge in the room which is expected in a 4*. Would we stay here again the next time we are back, most probably not. There are a lot more hotels in the area for the price.

Good location with reasonable price. Firm comfortable bed. Bath room design is horrible, no shelf space, no rack for towels, no shower door (just small glass partition), you need to use many towels to prevent flooding the whole bathroom; the middle aged gentleman is not very friendly.

Bed bugs bite all six of us in two family rooms. I ended up have very bad allergies to the bed bugs, I bed they didn’t clean the bedsheets and mattress at all over the last years Over the past 5 days two visits in hospital already. Very very bad. Do NOT stay there! Especially the family rooms!!!!!!! For your health!!!

It was a great a location, staff were helpful and nice. The rooms were a bit basic and the transferred easily from other rooms and the hallway. It was quite clean and shower was good. The mattress toppers kept slipping off the beds which made sleeping harder. But overall it was good for the price in that location.

This place is a great find right near the Central Station. Staff is kind, curtious and helpful and the breakfast is a great deal. Our room was lovely and very clean the two times we stayed and I’d definitely highly recommend.

We stayed in the attic at Hotel Mansion. It was a charming room, despite the many steep stairs to reach our room (we expected this when booking). We appreciated how quiet it was, and that it was air conditioned. Adnan checked us in, helped us get the bags to our room, and gave us some great recommendations (along with a marked up map) for where we might want to eat and explore in Amsterdam. We were easily able to access everything we needed (train station, cruise terminal, restaurants, shopping, etc.) on foot due to the hotel's ideal location.
