“Quaint. Quiet. Affordable”

No frills. No fridge! No microwave! No true queen sized bed; rather 2 twins put together and they split apart if you don't stay on your side! Clean and comfortable room situated by the vogelpark.

“Okay as far as hotels go, no thrills.”

As the title says, no thrills, 1st impression was good very nice lobby, room was at top (very top) lift only goes to 2nd floor we were on 3rd which was a bit of a mission at the end of the day. Breakfast, what brekfast, not worth the 10 euro's they wanted, bread, selection of cold meets, jam apple warm drinks thats it. Other than that room was ok, no soap no bathroom floor matt, one tiny litte towel provided old old tv to watch thats it, def no thrills. Staff were pleasent and helpful. Let us keep our baggage in a hold area until we left for the airport.

“what we thought of hotel blyss”

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner,both were pleased with the accommodation,comfortable,clean, with fresh towels and plenty of hot water.Only downside was it states there are irons/ironing boards in the room we didnt have either and when asked for, staff said they would see what they could do but they never got back to us.Hotel was very easy to find and was in a central location,some great bars and restaurants close by.All in all had a very pleasant stay here and would stay again,just remember to bring my own iron next time!

Lovely hotel, had a really nice room with a huge bed and a nice view from window!!

Upon arrival at hotel no internet available for system was down. The hotel has only one phone line. Consequently very difficult to receive or make calls for clerk needed the line. The clerk was very courteous though

“Mediocre”

Amsterdam is an expensive city to stay in, and this hotel is very bare bones and basic even though it is not (by my lights, at least) inexpensive.

“Not impressed”

The staff was very rude and the policies seemed shady. I was there with a group and my room was decent, but my friend's room was atrocious, disgusting, and noisy. They were able to switch rooms and the 2nd one was a big improvement. The rooms were extremely small, the walls were thin, and housekeeping was a joke. My bed had hair on it from the previous person that stayed in my room, I was extremely grossed out and ended up sleeping on top of my sweaters. This hotel is good if you need a place to pass out or you're in a bind, but not for quality or cleanliness.

“No air conditioning”

Room was noisy due to work occurring to the outside and inside. No air-conditioning room was very warm, ground level room, no locks on the windows. ok location

“Bank Holiday Break”

The hotel was clean but we were not happy with the room as it wasnt as advertised, location of the hotel was bit of a mission to get to from the town central. And simple things like requesting ice was impossible
