Enjoyed our stay. Good to have the shuttle car service to the airport for a fee. We did not have to worry about taking our car into the city.

We have no complaints about our stay, except travelling back to the hotel after being out all day, turned out to be long waiting outside the airport. Other than that we had a great time, the hotel staff were very helpful, infact all staff were very helpful, we would stay again and would recommend.

Nice & Clean hotel.Posted Oct 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is nice. Outside of Amsterdam city centre but they provide shuttle service for 9 Euro/room/one way. You can get direct train for city centre just for 3.20 Euro. Hotel staff are great. Very helpful. Nice & new hotel. Room was great. I would recommended only if you are willing to travel 30 min for Amsterdam city centre.

Great hotel close to the airportPosted Sep 30, 2013
This hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the airport. It was the nicest hotel in our stay in the Netherllands. They offer free shuttle from the airport. I think we paid 9 euros back to the airport. The room was completely renovated, spacious, nicely appointed, and well ventilated. There is a very nice restaurant attached to the hotel - had a great meal there. The only tricky part was getting the shuttle. You have to get it from the departures area - not arrivals, so we were waiting in the wrong spot for awhile. I would confirm the details of shuttle pickup before your stay as we had no European cellphone access.

Quiet and relaxingPosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for a long layover. The hotel is nestled in a very quiet neighborhood with picturesque houses around. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, more options if you have transportation. It was Sunday night, so the quietness might have been partially artificial. The room we had was a "junior suite", which was roughly the size we normally expect a typical business hotel room to be in the U.S. It was very clean and had a very spacious and well-equipped bathroom by European standards. Also had a real queen bed rather than two twins abutted together, which we appreciated. The hotel restaurant was expensive and had abysmal service, but the food WAS good once it arrived. Has an airport shuttle, so save the Euros from a cab ride.

Average hotel located outskirt of AmsterdamPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Quiet location & the Wifi
Cons: Hotel staff training to be a wee more customer friendly and to be proative
Location: You have a wee supermarket [Hoogvliet] round the corner and the beach next door if you fancy a bit of beach volleyball.
The hotel is not close to the city center so be prepared to travel by bus from Amsterdam Central station or get the hotel shuttle which we didn't use because the shuttle destination is only Schipol Airport. To travel to the hotel from the train station, we got on bus 170 outside the Amsterdam Central train station and change at Amstelveen bus station to bus 171 to Machineweg stop in Aalsmeer which the kids love as it's part of sightseeing. The restaurant can be a wee pricey for a family so I would suggest you get a pizza or Chinese takeaway [ask for menu on the phone] to deliver to your room which was very reasonable or dine at the Beach restaurant/cafe next door to the hotel. Finally, if you're travelling from UK, remember to take your socket adaptor to benefit from the hotel wifi.
