Hotel bruyant "de l'interieur" ... bruit de canalisation (douche et toilette) et faible isolation des chambres entre elles. Sinon hotel bien situe, personnel discret et agreable

“not what we expected, very impressed”

ok i booked this hotel b-4 i read the reviews. once i read the reviews i got scared! however when we arrived, we were very pleased, it had steep steps, but we used the lift, decent breakfast, nice sized room, we had a double twin. decorated modestly. the bathroom was big and very nice. the guys at the desk were very helpful and friendly. we will definetly stay here again great price!!!!

“Good location, well cared for, small rooms”

I'm a former resident of Amsterdam so know my way around. I selected this hotel due to price and location. This hotel is only about a 5 minute walk from the Leidseplein which is one of the centers of Amsterdam activities. It is well cared for, very clean and provided an excellent breakfast. The only negative is that the rooms are VERY small even by Amsterdam standards. But if you can live with that, it is an excellent choice. I would stay there again.

Good location, walking distance from entertainment, restaurants, shopping, museums...etc. I was very impressed with the hotel service, everyone at hotel paris is very friendly and helpful. The room that I stayed in was just right for one person, and very comfortable. I would definitely stay at hotel paris again on my next trip to amsterdam.

The hotel, overall seemed very clean, the rooms were comfortable, as were the bathrooms, which were cleaned every day, towels etc. Only drawbacks were, 1) breakfast was like feeding time at the zoo, although there was everything needed, cereal, eggs, toast, etc, etc. 2)The hotel had a lovely little bar, but not fully stocked and manned. Could be a nice little meeting place but not as it is now. And ice in drinks is very sparse. 3) Key to room have to be handed in every time you go out. But overall I would recommend the hotel, I would use again.

“Everything just right”

Just outside the hotel is a tram point, one stop on the #7 line from the Liedesplein. A 150 meter walk and there is every kind of restaurant and store and park and museum, and and and Perhaps my larger, richer, corporate-hotel loving friends would not be comfortable here. Every room could use an extra square meter, and some of the stairs take real balance. But the staff are friendly, the coffee good, the breakfast good, the water pressure and heat fine, the TV fine, the bed, better than fine...what more could one ask for?

Small, very small rooms, but adequate. Stay in the back, not the street facing side, too noisy. Breakfast is superb, location perfect. Transportation at the door to everywhere. Price reasonable, reduces the longer you stay. Good people and a nice place. I'll be back.
