“Great value for location”
Nice location near Leidseplein and some cool bars on Marnixstraat. Rooms are small but not bad. Nice bed and excellent staff...the staff really made the difference. Helpful and friendly. Also, nice breakfast spread. I have stayed at many 3 starred hotels (and 4 to 5 stars but this is a diff price range) in the center and this is one I will always return to.
“Hotel de Paris was Proper”
Nice decor. The room was clean and modern. Ample hot water for showers and the like. Hotel staff were all very helpful...and there is a nice little coffeeshop right across the street to get things started right.
“would do it again”
Great staff and very close to the Leidesplien.Breakfast was included and was very good.Lots of room in the hotel room.Watch the stairs very steep but we are spring chickens and had no problem
“Great hotel, good price”
We stayed in this hotel for 4 days and it was small, but very comfortable. The bed was sooooo comfy. It's located right in the entertainment district and about a 20 min walk from central downtown. Good location, good price.
“Nice and clean”
Was very satisfied with my stay here. Nice location and the room was clean. I just wish they offered free wi-fi like everywhere else in the world. Had to go to McDonalds every day to use the internet.
“Hotel De Paris - Great Hotel”
Just stayed at Hotel De Paris for two nights. The hotel was in a Great location, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The people working at the hotel were all kind and informative. I will definately stay there again on my next visit to Amsterdam.
“Great location”
The Hotel de Paris was very conveniently located for the Leidesplein, the casino and the Rijkmuseum. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a good selection of breads, meats, cheese and cereals. Eggs were scrambled or boiled. On the down side our room had lino on the floor instead of carpet and as we were there in January it was cold on the feet so I would recommend you take slippers if going in the winter. It is also no smoking but there is a very friendly coffe shop directly opposite. To save on taxis, you can take trams 1, 2 or 5 from the Central Station to the Leidesplein and it is a short walk from there to the hotel. On the whole I think it was worth the money.
“Good value for money”
Walkable distance from everywhere providing you dont mind walking. Very close to the art museums but approx 25 mins from railway station. Breakfast very good and available for reasonable amount of time. Hotel kept suit cases all day without extra cost on day of departure. Would use hotel again.
“Good Value”
Pleasant basic hotel on the edge of the central area. Esay to find. Does not look very smart from the outside, but everything was alright inside. Fairly small room, which I believe is common in Amsterdam. The toilet and shower were modern, clean and efficient. Plenty to eat at breakfast which was included in the price --- the only hot food available was scrambled egg. We would use the hotel again if we stayed in Amsterdam.
“Amazing flowers!!”
We went to Amsterda to see the flowers and enjoy the city! The hotel had a great location, and that made it all a lot easier! The only thing is (and I already knew when I booked it) is that we got the small double room, and it was REALLY SMALL!! But the hotel was pretty clean and the staff friendly! But the colatio was top 10!
