“Perfect location for the RLD”

The hotel is a very short walk from the Amsterdam Central train station and all of the options within the Red Light District. If you do not expect much in terms of quality of decor, furniture etc, and you will not be disappointed. It's all about location and minimum time spent in the room.

“Romantic Setting in the heart of Amsterdam”

My boyfriend and I booked Hotel Luxor for our 2yr aniversary to amsterdam from NYC. The staff was very kind and very hospitable, we arrived on an over night flight and got to the hotel by 5am. The overnight staff unlocked the doors to the hotel and even though he wasn't able to check us in he did offer us some of the best coffee I've ever tasted and free of charge! The hotel room was basic, Tv and lamps, the bed 'looked' like a full but in actuality it was two twin beds pushed together which was find because the hotels had small hallways so i doubt they could fit a large bed. The only issue we had was with the shower, but its because I prefer a very stronger water pressure. Otherwise a nice hotel with really nice staff. I'd recommend it, because it was very comfortable.

Area recommendations
The hotel is located in the center of everything, just walk in any direction and you will see the gorgeous canals and MILLIONS of Bicycles everywhere!
