“Nice hotel, but not near the action.”
The hotel was nively decorated and comfortable. The service was great too! I went to The Netherlands to be near Amsterdam, and this hotel was 30 minute bus ride away.
“Rural Netherlands, within half an hour's drive from AMS airport”
On a rural highway, with very little around. Restaurant is probably nice, though I didn't use it except for a coffee. Room was clean, new. No facility to make tea/coffee in the room.
“Expedia lists this hotel as by Schipol airport. Definitely NOT even close to the airport.”
Once again, the data in Expedia has been wrong at it's customer's expense. This hotel is definitely no anywhere near the Schipol airport. Cab ride is around e-ight-y f-ive bucks to this hotel. Nobody at the airport including most taxis knew where this place was. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
“Not Recommended”
This hotel has been recently renovated. It is clean although the decoration was a bit weird. Service was very good. But it is located on a busy road. There is no air-conditioning and no air circulation at all in the rooms. If you open the windows, the noise of the traffic is really bad and you can't sleep. It was over 32deg C when we were there and it was hot and stifling. We could not sleep at all -- both from the hot air and the noise. They're apparently planning to install air conditioning in a year (2011). But we certainly don't plan to go back.
“Very decent little hotel”
If you're looking for somewhere to stop for the night, and don't need to be near a busy town centre, this hotel has a lovely restaurant, excellent service and friendly, professional staff. It's a perfect business travellers' hotel.
