Great location. Very central hotel

Clean. Very accommodating and helpful staff, who were willing to cater to out special checkin needs, which saved a huge trouble of having to change our train tickets to earlier time. Location is good. Very close to most of the tourist attractions in town. Great value for the price we've paid. The only negative thing I would point out is that the Internet wasn't very stable durin our stay. Might be a little be annoying if you wanna do research and plan your next day trip. (Oh and you need to bring your own hairdryer.) But since it's complimentary so not a big complaint at all. Overall it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a room within budget.

Pros: Rooms were set to a perfect temperature even though it was very cold outside and our room had two huge windows. Room was large with a view and clean.
Cons: We did not use the tv in our room, but it was broken. There could be a lift installed for luggage, but the Dutch stairs are part of the experience.
Location: Red light district is two minutes, main square, lots of shopping, picturesque canals, basically you are close to everything in amsterdam.
We had a great experience here. Right in the city center, close to everything there is to see in amsterdam. The hotel is super clean and very quiet. There is a bell tower not too far away and every half hour you can hear its whimsical chiming. The stairs are very steep in traditional Dutch fashion and as we were staying on the top (third) floor, it was definetly a workout with our large suitcases. We didn't mind, but I would recommend that older folks book a room on the first floor. Every day our rooms were cleaned and made, towels exchanged too. My brother and I I had a great experience here and I would reccomend it to any friends that were planning a trip to amsterdam.
