“wonderful 2 night stay, touring museums of amsterdam”

Piet Hein in the museum quarter of amsterdam - easy access (3 blocks) to the tram - low price/24 hours travel within amsterdam. Hotel staff courteous, helpful and knowledgeable to finding sights of amsterdam. Breakfast is paid separately, quite expensive. but worth it to start your day with all the conveniences of a warm meal. I stayed on my own in a single room - small and cozy - but complete with what one needs. The free online internet is a plus. location of the hotel is away from much of the hustle and bustle of amsterdam. so, when you have had a full day of touring, it is a nice quiet location to get back to. there are many beautiful shops in the area to stroll and window shop if you are not in the direct area when they are open I would say that this is a solid 3 - there are no 'extras' - but you have what you need for your stay. I would go back again and i recommend it to those who will be out most of the day. I do not think it is convenient for those with small children. Wonderful 2 night stay, touring museums of amsterdam.

“Pretty hotel by the park”

This hotel is in a great location, right by the park and museums, and with plenty of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. It's away from the chaos of the central area, but easily walkable to where the action is. The internet was great and there is a nice bar area to lounge in before going out.

“Museumplein”

Piet Hein is a modern hotel located just off a park area leading to Vondelpark. Quiet, free Internet (wireless) and two blocks from the van Gogh Museum (and tram line).

“great location!”

I very much enjoyed this hotel- as a single traveler (female) sometimes I don't feel as taken care of as businessman- not so the case here- these folks are friendly to everyone- and the room, while small, was very clean bright and comfortable- Also the breakfast is wonderful- as much coffee lait as you might want (need!)- Great location around the corner from the museums-

“Clean, quiet ,comfortable and close to Leidesplein”

A very fine hotel next to Vondelpark and 3 blocks from Leidesplein. Close to Museums as well, but off the main path so it's quiet. Room was renovated - the whole hotel looked new. Very nice.

“Hotel convenient to Vondelpark and Museumplein”

On a quiet side street that borders Vondelpark. Five minutes to van Gogh Museum and trams. Modern hotel. My single room was on the small side but no real complaints. EXCELLENT wireless.

“Will stay here again”

Room was small, but comfortable and very clean. Had a view overlooking inner courtyard. The hotel is a short walk to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum, as well as the Leidseplein area. The hotel itself overlooks part of Vondelpark which I walked through to get to Leidesplein. The only "hiccup" was that when I took a taxi to the hotel, the cab driver had a hard time finding the hotel, but there was some road construction nearby at the time which may have been part of the problem. Hotel staff were friendly. Overall, I was quite pleased.
