“A delightful experience”
We stayed in the hotel for 3 days. It was a trip for my birthday and the hotel staff could not have made our visit more special. We were warmly greeted and I was welcomed to the hotel with beautiful gifts from the reception staff. We checked into our stunning room early and was congratulated with wine and fruits from the room service team. Throughout our stay all the staff were helpful and polite. Our room was stunning, the hotel was in a beautifully quiet location with easy access to everything and with the benefit of a divine canal boat. The Pulitzer is a wonderfully romantic place to stay with lasting memories of happiness for us.
“Luxury break”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Pulitzer Hotel. It is in a perfect position right in the heart of old Amsterdam. Being part of an original canal building, the room was relatively small and rather lacking in storage space but it led onto an inner courtyard garden and we enjoyed its quirkiness and charm. All the staff were extremely helpful.
“I want to live here!”
Gorgeous location, becautiful deluxe room with the most sumptious beds that made us miss many a tours. Breakfast was amazing and such a feast. Definitely stay here!!!! Top Hotel!
“was excellent softest bed ever”
From the moment we arrived until we left the staff was totally helpful and friendly and available. It was a pleasure. the Pulitzer Bar in the rear is also a hidden delight. No negatives.
“A Keeper”
Charming hotel which feels more like a private home. Ask to have the fantastic breakfast included in your stay it was a great way to start each day. Located on the edge of The Jordaan residential district with small shops along the easy 5 to 10 minute walk to the Dam/Square area.
“Would definitely stay there again”
The hotel was first class from the extremely comfortable rooms to the helpful staff.
“Amazing property, will absolutely go back and recommend highly!!!”
Charming boutique hotel, beautiful charming setting, delightful gardens with art work and sculptures where we dined/ had drinks, staff is amazing, so is the food; 24 hr room service, purchase room/ breakfast-it was BEST in Europe. Lounge/Bar is top notch, classy & serves food late (kids allowed), hotel is older, so rooms are too, didn't like 1st room, had narrow steps to 2nd level bedroom, upgraded me to 1 level plasma TV Modern King Bed/View of Canal!
“Pulitzer Hotel Amsterdam”
We had a great 4 days in Amsterdam. The Pulitzer hotel is very well located and very friendly and helpful. The food is good at the restaurant and both breakfast and lunch were good. We did not have dinner there, but it was a shame that some of the child friendly lunch items such as hamburger were not on the dinner menu. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, We would definitely stay at the hotel again if in Amsterdam.

Canal Ring, Amsterdam, Netherlands: The classic Amsterdam image of stately canals, the Canal Loop is principally the Herengracht and Keizersgracht, lined with gracious tall 17th and 18th-century houses. Some of these are now museums, most notably the eccentric Kattenkabinet. The Amstel is a more down-to-earth waterway, lined with houseboats and famous for its classic muchphotographed Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge). The floating Flower Market is also a much-loved canal feature.
