Pros: The room
Cons: There should be an elevator
Location: Nice, busy city center location
Although the actual room was neatly designed and spacious, there was no warning that this room was 77 steps up the most impossibly raked, narrow Dutch staircase. Too much schlepping. Also, the reception staff is not always on site. This place is not for me at least.

Great location just right distance from the madnesPosted Aug 17, 2014
Our room was really comfortable, very modern and spotless. Just to mention that you should be prepared for steep stairs and no communal breakfast area or a lobby.think a really nice b & b rather than a hotel. Location was just right still central but just a right distance from the crazy centre bit. Very good for airport and Central station transport links. 5 mins fron vondelpark.Would gladly stay again.

nothing fancy but great locationPosted Jul 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay Hotel Weber mainly because of it's close proximity to restaurants, bars and sights in Amsterdam. The daily breakfast and free wi-fi were great perks. A few heads up....the hotel does not have air conditioning which was a bit uncomfortable in 90 degree heat. Also, you have to go up a very narrow, steep stairwell to get to the hotel rooms. Not a problem for us, but could pose a problem for some.

It did get loud at night if you had the windows open. There is no A/C, so you might consider another hotel if you are booking during the warm season.

Great hotel, solid locationPosted Jul 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Only issue is lugging your luggage up the steep stairs, but that wasn't too bad either. Great hotel!

Beautiful boutique hotel in great central locationPosted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, luxurious rooms, fantastic location, excellent breakfast and all at a great price for a 4* in Amsterdam.
Location: Just off Leidsplein - perfect for sitting and having a coffee (or beer!) and watching the world go by.Also close to Museumplein and Anne Frank's house
Our fantastic experience of staying at Hotel Weber started before we even arrived when the lovely Monica emailed us to let us know the best route to get from the airport to the hotel (an easy and cheap 30 minute bus ride). She was expecting us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful for the rest of our stay - even getting a present for my boyfriend when it was his birthday. The location is wonderful - very central so you can walk to all the attractions and with a bar downstairs so not far to stumble back to the room, but our room was quiet and peaceful so we could sleep easily. The rooms are beautifully decorated with fantastic light schemes - it's very different from the average room. The breakfast arrangements are fantastic; fresh bread (croissants, rolls, slices) is left outside your room in the morning and the fridge is stocked everyday with cheese, ham, salami, pate, soft cheese, jam, honey, chocolate spread, yoghurts, milk and cereal which you can use to have your own breakfast in bed (or at the table if you'd prefer) - so a great, relaxing start to the day. There is also a fabulous nespresso coffee machine which was the ebst coffee we had in Amsterdam! Check out is at midday so no need to rush off, then the hotel are very accomodating with leaving your luggage in a locked room and making sure they are available for you to come and pick it up. The stairs are steep but this is typical of Amsterdam. We really loved it and will definitely stay there again.

almost perfect for its price but steep stairsPosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is one of the more economically priced hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. A 30 bus ride from airport and around 15 mins from central station. Extremely convenient to walk around in Leidseplein and even to central station. There is already a very cool bar right down below the hotel. Will likely to book this place again. The stairs not really for the faint hearted though.

I wanted to stay somewhere decent close to leidesplien square and this hotel was locates within a minute walk yet far enough away from all the noise. It's a great hotel, excellent service with them confirming the booking by email before we left and I can't fault at all. A great choice of hotel on a budget

Really enjoyed the modern look, the fridge in the room, the Nespresso machine, and the museums just a few steps away.
