“In the middle of a small residential neighbourhood”

This hotel is right in the middle of a small residential neighborhood. The free shuttle service to and from the airport is a big bonus. In fact, this hotel is perfect for someone who wants a nice quiet place to have a good rest in between flights. However, I would not recommend it to someone who is more interested in activities in downtown Amsterdam as the taxi fare is expensive. The advertised double bed was really two single beds joined together. My single room was a bit too small with no room for chairs or desks. Not a great place to do any serious work in the room. The hotel also charges extra for breakfast.

“Not bad for overnight”

The people in charge took on too many chores. The woman who checked us in also doubled as bartender, and answered the phone. When we were at the bar waiting for a drink she was busy with phones, checking in people, etc. The bartender at night, also doubled as waiter and driver for the hotel van. Do not be in a hurry when you go in the dining room to eat! Not very efficient on any level. The rooms were clean, but the 'non-jacuzzi' rooms were extremely small and crowded. It was fine for a one night stay while flying back home the next day, however, but not for an extended stay.

“Good place to spend the night”

The hotel was off to a rough start when it took the shuttle 45 minutes to pick me up at the airport instead of the 20 minutes they had said it would take. That's a pity because other than that, the hotel is fine - nothing fancy, just an affordable, clean room in a quiet neighborhood.

“Basic no thrills place to stay.”

Hotel was basic, was a bit out of the way if you are going to Amsterdam city centre. My double bed was 2 single beds pushed together.

“Just for a pit stop”

We stayed in this hotel because we had an early flight out of Schipol the next morning. We got there late at night and left early in the morning. I would have not chosen it for more than a short night. Too far from Amsterdam city center but about 15 minutes from the international airport, and they had a free shuttle. If these are not your priorities (close to airport, just for a quick stop), skip this hotel and find something better. The decor was extremely outdated, and the sink kep leaking.

“Tough living in Amsterdam”

I would not recommend any other traveler to stay in this Hotel because it is too far from the central city and Taxi takes around EUR 25 for Centrum.

“Definitely not a 3-star”

I'm not sure how this hotel got rated as a 3-star hotel and also why the distance from the airport was completely out of line with reality. It took a while to get there and the location was in the middle of a residential area and we had to take back-roads to get there. Because of the location, there was no chance to go anywhere. Although the bed was comfortable, the room was tiny and cramped. I didn't rate a 1 because I got a bonus of picking up free internet connection from one of the neighboring houses and so was able to do some useful work. I would not recommend this hotel for anybody travelling with a family because the rooms a very small. Since I stayed only 1-night, it was tolerable bit not for what I had to pay because it claimed to be a 3-star. It definitely is not by any stretch of the imagination. You definitely need to look into this rating and also the stated distance of the hotel from the airport (they must have used a direct-line measure not the distance through the winding roads that one must actually follow. We are not birds and so can't fly straight from the airport to the hotel).

“Stay away... scarry”

Hi, this hotel is not matching any known US standards. Some shady place in the middle of nowhere, with dark hallways, sleepy guy at front desk. Room was something like a trailer, humid and cold, I did not even try to take a shower there. Not sure who took these pictures, but you will be sorry you picked that sleazy joint. Could not wait till the morning to get the heck out of there. Pay a bit more and feel safe and comfortable.

“room looks like a garage. Restaurant too slow.”

Uncoonfortable. I expected not much for the price, and I needed a hotel with parking (what is difficult in Amsterdam), but at least the regular for a 3* hotel. My room was outside hotel hall. I had to exit the hotel door, walk 10 meters to enter my room. If rain, you will get wet. There are no restaurant nearbby open at 8pm, so I tried hotel restaurant, wich took more than one hour to have a grilled meat with french fries. The hostess excused because it was full (two tables with 2 customer and one large table with 12 or so), but did noot seem full for a restaurant... The bread and butter was served 45 minutes after I order. Expedia should pay more atttention to the hotels in their site, specially in Europe. I never had this kind of problem in USA.

“Needs Room Makeover/Unimpressed”

This hotel is 12 miles, in a small residential town from the central area. Hotel rooms are outdated. Management need to update furniture- ancient old alarm clock, old phones, curtains and bed frame. The rooms were small but decent size; if you are not going to be indoor is good to rest, sleeps for a couple of hours but not to hang or stayed for long periods. The first day we arrived there were insects (flies) by the curtain windows.Since, the windows were left open it came from outside. Hospitality could be better if they have someone by the counter desk 24hrs. For the quality of the hotel they should be charging less money for these rooms. They might as well call this a Motel rather than a Hotel.
