“A great place to stay in Amsterdam”

This rental apartment is on Bloemgracht (In Dutch it means Flower Canal), a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk from the Ann Frank House Museum and Westkerk (West Church). The room is spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a wall of windows facing the canal on which boats, ducks, and swans pass by. Though the apartment is not far from the center of the Jordaan district, it us very quiet. We spent 9 days in Jackie O Bed & Breakfast and enjoyed every day. We were able to cook simple meals like eggs and toast, and ravioli. There was a water heater and a Expresso machine. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and efficient. Jackie was very helpful. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us a map on which she pin-pointed places we planned to visit. She also had a bottle of wine in the refrigerator for us, and nuts, fruits and Dutch cookies Stroopwafel. We fell in love with Stroppwafel and had to go to buy more from the stores and later to take some home to the US. Staying at Jackie O Bed & Breakfast made us feel that we were connected to the city and people. I will definitely stay there again if I go to the Amsterdam.
