Ideally located for the Rijksmuseum

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Location: Perfectly located for the Rijksmuseum ? Van Gogh. Three minutes from a main tram into central. 24 hr public transport pass invaluable.
A pleasant hotel, but the carpets / room (entrance foyer) décor tend to pull it down a bit. The room was comfortable, but let down by the paintwork in the entrance and skirting boards in the bathroom, (otherwise - bathroom very nice). Furniture / fittings - good. You 'pay the price' of having a large bed (which was very comfortable) with very limited space (30cm between bed and curtains) on one side - a bit skinny in the middle of the night! Other side - no problems. There was one small problem with cleaning the room which was swiftly dealt with. I was also informed, the carpets / décor issues were soon to be rectified. The 'above' is more than outweighed though, by the staff. PLEASANT WELCOME FRIENDLY SERVICE COULD'NT BE MORE HELPFUL excellent. Breakfast . . . . . ample - good choice - and friendly staff. Yes . . . . I would use this hotel again

Nice, quiet place near Museumplein.

I would recommend this hotel. I booked a standard room before arriving but upgraded to larger room; worth the extra amenities. Very helpful staff. Close to the Museums and Leidseplein.

Nice hotel, great location but need a toaster

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean and of nice decor.
Cons: Just a toaster please.
Location: Location was great. We walked everywhere.
First visit to Amsterdam with a group of 13. Nice hotel in a great location. Near to city centre but very quiet. Would stay there again. The bar downstairs was lovely. The breakfast area was spacious and they had lots of choice. cereals, yoghurt, fruit, eggs, sausages etc. The only thing I really did miss was them not having a toaster....I like some toast on my holidays.

Auszeit in Amsterdam

Posted Jan 20, 2015

Posted Jan 17, 2015

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, very nice rooms. Location is good, not immediately central but very close to tram stops. Would highly recommend.
