“Quaint Amsterdam Hotel”
I would definitely recommend this hotel. Though I wouldn't necessarily consider it walking distance from any of the main attractions, it was very conveniently located a few steps from tram 2 stops, and that tram took us just about everywhere we wanted to go. We were greeted by hotel staff the minute we walked in the door. Service remained extremely friendly and personable throughout our stay. They could answer any questions about the city and had options for purchasing tickets for a canal cruise and several of the museums. The breakfast was good and was served in a quaint little lobby facing the street, and this quaint hotel was located in a nice residential neighborhood, with a pretty good selection of places to eat and cafe's within walking distance. The room was a bit small for the 4 of us, but we hardly spent any time there and it felt clean, which is what was most important to us. Also, we had access to a sweet little terrace, equipped with a table and enough chairs for the 4 of us. Amsterdam was excellent--great food, friendly people, wonderful museums and many things to do for both adults and children.
