“Clean and nice basic room”

Good location to most main sites. Very basic but clean nice room. Since its located near bars and clubs, could be noisy but did not bother me. Great for young people or couples enjoying nightlife.

Location is great. Tram stops across the entrance and at the same time you can walk 10-20 min to main squares. A lot of restaurants around at different price category.

“NH Caransa - Very Good”

Good Hotel in a great location, not quite 7 minutes walk from the central station but Rembrandtplein is a very lively location with loads of clubs and bars (Escape and Smokeys)...if you're into that sort of thing.

“Lost In Amsterdam”

The NH Caransa is located in the bustling Rembrandtplein and is therefore a great location for the out-of-towner who doesn't mind a non-stop party going on outside. Not to say that it is so loud you cant get any sleep from inside. I reserved the "Best Available Room" almost three months in advance and my wife and I were givin what was probably the smallest room in the hotel, other than the lack of space this was a pleasant place to stay.

“Amsterdam once again!”

I travel to Amsterdam regularly and most often stay in the Rembrandtplein area. This is a quite comfortable hotel to stay at (which I have done before) and is right on the square. It is central to the parts of the city that I usually visit while I am there. Cost is quite reasonable in the off-season.

“Good hotel - clean & great location!”

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights midweek in April. Fantastic location right on Rembrant square - some good bars/cafes on the square for food and drink. Right in the centre of the city, 10 mins walk gets you to all the main shoping and bar areas. We walked everywhere - very easy to get to all the main attractions. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, the room itself was very clean and though moderately sized it was comfortable. No noise from outside, but we did ask for a quiet room. Small bathroom but no major issue. Would stay here again, and would recommend to others.

“A good base for exploring Amsterdam”

I have no complaints about my stay. The staff was polite and helpful, the room a good size and clean. In a central spot with a tram stop outside the door, but also very easy walking to just about anywhere you want to go in Amsterdam.
