"Great for travellers looking a decent room"
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Location.
Cons: Dinner at the restaurant one night.
Location: Residential area near to Amstelpark.
Very nice location in a quite residential area, close to public transportation. Breakfast was very good. Dinner was poor.

building good staff terrible

The hotel itself is good but the staff leave a lot to be desired. Order drinks and expect to wait a long time 25 mins for a bottle of wine to be told then its not available the wait a further 10 mins for an alternative. In exec room they tell you wireless included but on checkout they try and bill you for it ( they tried with my three colleagues too)

Good Quality hotel but not much nearby

Hotel was clean and friendly. Good for accessing RAI, beware there are no bars or restaurants nearby. Better to eat near RAI. Lots of staff available at quiet times but few when needed ie check out.

Hotel to return for my next Amsterdam RAI event
Posted Jan 3, 2012
Pros: Excellent hotel, quiet area, good 4plus star
Cons: Wifi interaptions
Location: West Amsterdam , 20-30 minutes on foot to Amsterdam RAI, 10 minutes by bus 62, just behind hotel, 62 takes you to RAI, where you have tram, metro, train
Everyone from the hotel team I met was super helpful. The morning buffet was various, fresh vegetables and menu to all tastes, meat, egges ,danish pastries, healthy food, etc. Only it was too my taste expensive, not that you did not get an excellent value(19Euro). Even the kitchen people where polite and trying to help in any way. The room ,was O.K. ,spacius, T.V.Multi chanels, both local and other languages. Only problem there is free WIFI, but it suffered of interaptions, but maybe because my room was at the end of the building, even at this point the reception ladies were very helpfull and returned me to WIFI.

Three day stay in a modern hotel
Posted Jan 30, 2012
We had, on the whole, a good stay at the hotel. It is a bit out of the way, which suited my husband and I, but for my father there was alot of walking involved. Quality of staff was patchy, as the bar staff were always professional, pleasant and willing to help. However the restaurant staff were lacking in expertise and knowledge. The hotel itself is modern and very clean.

Could have been better
Posted Jan 2, 2012
Pros: The quiet location
Cons: The walk to public transport - no problem in good weather but grim in the rain.
Location: A quiet suburban area 20 minutes walk from Amsterdam Zuid station.
The room was not cleaned for two days. At the end of the second day we had to ask for clean cups etc. After that the cleaning seemed to work OK. We were surprised that additional room taxes were charged at check out although we had pre-paid for the room. This should have been clearer on the room listing.

Great Trip Great hotel
Posted Jan 30, 2012
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. FREE PARKING!!
Location: The location was perfect. 5 min walk to train stop.
The hotel was as advertised and more. The hotel was perfectly located about a 5 min walk to the train stop. The room had AC and was very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had all the info we need to make my visit the best. They explained in detail train directions and also how to maneuver around the city. Parking was free. Breakfast was great. I will most definitely stay here again.

Pros: Nespresso machine in the room!
Cons: weak shower, but this was sorted quickly
Location: in Amstelveen, not the centre of town, yet only 15 mins on the tram away
Very clean and simple. The shower was weak in my room and the staff were very quick to move me to another executive room. All in all, very helpful and within 5 mins walk of the tram line 5.
