Good clean modern hotel with good shuttle service. Pleasant staff and comfortable rooms.

“Good Airport Hotel”

It was everything I expected from an airport hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, service was excellent throughout the stay, and the hotel is also conveniently located - about a 15 minute shuttle ride from the airport in a quiet town. I would stay there again, considering the value over the hotels located directly at Schipol Airport.

Nice and clean hotel. It is close to airport ( 10 minutes drive). Bas is provid for free between Airport and hotel very 1/2 hour. From airport you can take train for 15-20 minutes to go to Amsterdam centre.

“Hotel Novotel (Amsterdam) review”

A real pleasure to stay there and I would highly recommend to anyone. Price was excellent, customer service exceptional for midnight arrival, which is not usual in many places and easy check out. This hotel was extremely clean, with more than sufficient in room extras like hot cocoa. I will no loger shy away from using Amsterdam as a pass-through airport now that I know about this gem.

“Will stay there in the future”

I and my daughter needed to stay for one day in Amsterdam due to our connecting flight. We stored all our suitcases at the airport luggage storage (you can rent a storage box of different sizes for up to 10 euros/24h). In a small bag we just kept our toiletries and fresh clothes. Before going to the hotel we went to see downtown Amsterdam by a train directly from the airport. After coming back to the airport we easily found our hotel shuttle which runs every 20min. The hotel itself is located approximately 10-15min from the airport, it is in what some may consider a rural area,but we had a view of the airport from our room. The hotel is very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. My daughter was slightly disappointed that the swimming pool was being renovated ;(. In the future we will stay there again for sure. We did not have time to stay for breakfast but children up to age 16 eat for free. Do not forget to print out a coupon.

Convenient bus shuttle,(be sure to know which airport Dorint you are staying at). I've also stayed at the cheaper and nearby Ibis, which I found too noisy and not unlike an overgrown youth hostel (which is not necessarily a bad thing, just not always my style).

“Comfy”

Only 10 minutes away from Schiphol--not bad if you have an early morning flight. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. Just be sure you're on time for the shuttle bus--I missed it by seconds and had to take a taxi.

“Novotel in Amsterdam”

After a long flight from the US, I easily found the shuttle area for the Novotel at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, and was able to check-in to my room when I arrived at the hotel about 12:00 noon. This was a bonus as I really needed a shower. The room was immaculate and very quiet both days I stayed there. My sister joined me on the second day, so I arranged for a fold-out bed for her, which she said was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet, which was included in my room rate through Expedia, was international in scope and had everything from noodles, to eggs, to cereals, fruits and yogurt. Be sure that you are not charged for it, though, if you have it included in your room rate as the front desk appears to automatically include it when you check out; however, they immediately reversed the charge. There is also an early buffet from 4:30 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. by the bar which is certainly adequate -- cereal, tea/coffee, rolls, and also a take-away box breakfast for people in a rush to get to the airport. The area of the hotel is rural, with a nearby French and Italian restaurant. We tried the Italian restaurant and had a delightful meal there. It's about 20 minutes by shuttle to/from the airport, then about another 25 minutes into Amsterdam by train (about 7+euros). I was happy to return to the hotel and the peaceful surroundings after a day in Amsterdam. Highly, highly recommend the hotel.
