Great apartment, quiet neighborhoodPosted Jul 27, 2014
We loved staying in PH apartments in Amsterdam. The apartment was large and furnished nicely. Stay there in a group of 4 people. Only 10 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride to major attractions. Only downside was it was a bit of an adventure to pick up the key to the apartment.

Amsterdam.Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: It was spacious.
Cons: If you could smoke on the step outside but that was prohibited.
Location: 10 minutes by foot and your right in the middle of the city centre in & around The Damrak.
We stayed in a spacious apt 10 minutes by foot from Central station . It was on a road Facing Nemo. It was quiet in the evenings and away from the noise that you can get around The Damrak & The Red Light district.

Good apartments but not such good value for moneyPosted May 21, 2014
Pros: It was spacious but only downstairs, the upper floor had very little room.
Fairly good location which was convenient for the Pacha Festival we were attending but fairly far from the centre and Rembrandts square were the bars, clubs etc that we wanted to go to are. We only took this apartment as a replacement for the one we had booked, but Expedia made a mistake with our booking and 3 weeks prior to departure left us "homeless", so this is were we ended up. The apts are clean and tidy but don't expect any daily service such as cleaning or towels etc. We were in apartment F which had 2 bedrooms with twin beds but the sloping roofs didn't allow any room for sitting up in bed, similar to sleeping in a tent. Also there was only one wardrobe for two rooms and only 6 hangers.

Nice place, ok locationPosted Feb 26, 2014
Not too far but not bang in the centre of Amsterdam, depends what you are there for I suppose. I went for my 21st with 10 lads 4 of us stayed at PH apartments, we thought we had the short straw when it came to apartments and distance from all the buisiness, redlight, cafés etc... About 10-20 minutes walk away depending where we were going, also 10 minutes from central station. Nice walk though so didn't really mind it at all! When we compared hotels we easily had the best maybe a little dearer than the rest but for what we got in return more than satisfied us. Comfy beds, spacious, great living area, great eating area, great cooking area, great bathroom.. With a heated floor, I loved this! I would definitely recommend this apartment and I would stay again.. Actually looking at flights to return some time soon! Hope you all enjoy the place as much as I did!!!!!!

Good location, huge apartment, excellent valuePosted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Liked everything
Location: 5 minutes to central Amsterdam.
Was a large apartment, the checking staff at the office were fantastic as were the Expedia phone helpers, our initial booked apartment had closed just prior to our arrival and Expedia had us in a new apartment within 2 hours of our call, thanks Expedia for excellent service.

PH Apartments, AmsterdamPosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: Once inside the apartment, we found an exceptionally spacious lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
Cons: Please label the door with the apartment name!! A few more pictures and bits to make it feel more homely. Also a chopping board for kitchen.
Location: Very central, many things nearby, and near Centraal Station so easy transport links.
Check-in at airport is handy. However, when we entered the apartment building our apartment, Batavia Harbour, was not listed on the information board on the wall. It then took about 20 mins on the phone to the company for someone to work out that if we turned around from the information board then the door marked B was ours!

PH Apartments in AmsterdamPosted Nov 1, 2013
The apartments are located near to the Maritime Museum and approx 15-20 minutes' walk from the Central station. Our apartment was on the first floor, fairly quiet, looking to the rear of other buildings. The apartment itself is spacious with high ceilings, large windows, so light, and there is warm air heating. Kitchenette (part of an open plan sitting/ dining room) is fairly well equipped and the staff provided a frying pan when requested. It was great to have washing up liquid, brushes etc supplied. The curtains were not good, very hard to close and to get decent coverage across the high windows. Bedroom has two single beds with bedside tables and a wardrobe. Bathroom is a wet room with a full decent shower and a bath. Toilet is separate. This apartment suited us well, family of four. The children shared the sofa bed. They did not like the heating fan coming on and off through the night. A good supermarket is located about 10 minutes' walk away, open every day. We would recommend this apartment if looking for self-catering within a reasonable budget. Internet access was intermittent, in need of a boost.
