“Great location and rooms”

The hotel must have recently been refurbished because the rooms are very clean, modern and spacious and the beds very comfortable. I stay at many hotels for business and this one which I used for a trip with my wife was very nice.

Fantastic hotel Large luxurious rooms Staff warm polite helpful. not overpretentious Breakfast amazing Sauna out of order (minor thing. probably would only want to use for the fact it was there) Gentleman at front desk gave great advice for the best coffee in town !! and organized a rental car for 1 day very quickly and affordably. Will only go here again if return to Holland. I wish.

“Definatley 5 *”

Breakfast, although expensive was amazing, such variety. The room was clean comfortable and we slept like babies in such a luxurious bed. The staff were very friendly and went out of the way to help you. The best hotel I've stayed in yet.

“Good solid stuff”

Excellent location, quiet street, clean and comfortable rooms and beds. That said the place is pretty dated looking and in real terms feels more like a four star than a five star hotel. That said it's comfortable anonymous and excellently situated.

“Perfect Hotel!”

The hotel was a little bit hard to find, but that is just because Amsterdam is confusing! Overall, the actual hotel was amazing! I will definitely book next time I go to Amsterdam!

“A gem in a great location”

The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff friendly and accommodating. It is within walking distance of all the major sights but nicely off the main (busy,noisy) square. Our room was in the main building where reception is located. The only thing that could have been better was the selection of toiletries which did not include lotion. It was our first trip to Amsterdam so we asked for recommendations from the concierge on a few things (restaurants, shopping) who went out of his way to help, then called to check that we enjoyed ourselves. The quality of food and drinks in the bar and restaurant was very good.

“Amsterdam in Style”

A very pleasant if rather short stay. This is a very stylish hotel and very well appointed. All the staff we dealt with could not have been more helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble. The location is a real plus point, only five minutes walk from Dam Square and the Red Light District, but on a very quite road itself and felt like it was almost in a different part of the city altogether. One note of caution however, beware the computerised mini bar!

“Serene room for working, perfect location for going out”

Booked using Expedia special rate. Happily surprised to find myself in a "deluxe" room, in Art Deco style - high ceiling, colour scheme cheerful without being brash. Very cool. Needed to spend some of the time working - so I appreciated the good desk, with chair of matching height (weird that so many hotels get this wrong), and free Internet. Also grateful to the Concierge for honest advice about the airport shuttle service (in short: train is quicker and cheaper, if you don't mind walking a bit).
