Very nice hotel, In a central position, excellent attention on arrival, we had our room upgraded to a business class room which was unexpected.Excellent all round hotel convenient to all attractions

Staying for the marathon

Location: Walking distance of good restaurants and bars but quiet which helps when running a marathon
Good location with friendly helpful staff and nice quiet room but the bathroom was pokey and whilst clean in need of updating I am always happy to reuse towels but not if there is no means of drying them definitely tired and not up to other radisson hotels I have stayed in

First class stay

Pros: The room was first class and the staff are very friendly and make your stay an enjoyable one.
Cons: When checking in you could advise on the local tax that is added to the room. Not when checking out.
Location: Central to every thing
Everything about this hotel is outstanding from our arrival to our departure. Would definitely go back.

Disappointing service

When I booked this hotel for a business trip over 2 days, I was reassured that I had been able to speak to the concierge and book transport from the airport, ensuring I would be met from the plane. Unfortunately, when I arrived there was no one visible, and after waiting for some considerable time I was forced to take a taxi to the hotel. When I arrived at reception I was therefore astonished to be charged a 50 Euro "no show" charge for my airport transfer. This charge has since been refunded and the hotel has accepted responsibility for the mix up, but there has been no apology, no offer of compensation and I had to spend several emails and phone calls explaining what had occurred before the Radisson Blu would accept that they were in the wrong. As this hotel is in direct competition price and amenities wise with several other comparable venues, I would not recommend or stay again with this hotel.

2nd visit here and would defiantly stay here again, staff friendly, hotel lovely and food very tasty. Absolutely a must stay.

Short break, first time in Amsterdam

Pros: The helpfulness of the staff on reception made it easy to find the places we wanted to go. It is situated right in the middle of the old town.
Cons: The size of the breakfast room.
Location: Central station, canals, museums, boat tours, red light district, cafes and coffee shops, everything within walking distance.
All the staff were pleasant and keen to help. The dining room was not big enough for the number of people for breakfast so there was a short wait. We booked a business room for the extra space but there was only a view of a roof which was disappointing. Everything else was fine.

Location: the hotel is within walking distance of most or all of Amsterdam's museums and other attractons.
the staff were all very pleasant and helpful and we had an enjoyable stay in this large international hotel.

Fabulous breakfast

The hotel was nice, but the room, although the bathroom was lovely, was a bit mediocre. However, I can't complain about the service because it was great, and the buffet breakfast was spectacular.

very central location -overall the staff were very helpful.The hotel was very clean and comfortable.We enjoyed the breakfast which had a great variety.I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a central location.I found it good value for money.
