“Really nice hotel”
It was renovated in Jan 2009... Everything is really nice.
“Nice Hotel in good location”
I would not rate this as a 5 star property, but it was in a great location and was very clean. The common areas and the executive club were excellent, modern and sleek. We had a large room on the top floor which was very comfortable, but dated in style. I consider this hotel more of a business hotel, as it is listed in one of my travel books, as opposed to a luxury hotel.
“Nice location.”
Stayed for two nights in February. Pleased with location and service. Overnite vallet parking is overpriced at 50 EUR per 24hrs. Extremely soft bed, like in Caesar Palas in Las Vegas. Room is small, but we expected that. Plasma TV. Shower is clean. In-house resturants are great, also recommnend "All you can eat Sushi" 800m south - it is very good place, and romantic too, ask receptinist for direction. The weather is mostly rainy in February, +10C. Two days is enough to walk around and see the whole Old Town.
“Great experience”
This was a first rate hotel. Great location, walking distance to canal boats, train station and good restaurants. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Front desk told me where a nearby ATM machine was so I could save the 7% commossion they charged for foreign exchange. Great price for a 5 star hotel. I have already recommended to friends.
“Nice hotel, very convenient to Centraal”
I had a nice time at this hotel. The bed was more comfortable than most. They provide wired internet in the lowest room, but charge about 27 euros after tax per day for wireless, and I was only able to use the wireless on one of my devices. The speed and strength of the wireless was also fairly dismal. Power outlets were plentiful and in convenient spots. Beware of the refrigerator. The first thing I did was empty it of al the sodas and beer and filled it with things I bought from the grocery store. The problem is that it is computerized, so I had to explain how I did not actually consume dozens of sodas and beers--oops.
“Excellent hotel in Amsterdam”
The room upgrade was fantastic, however on the downside, the internet and television have to be paid for. We didn't do that since we didn't spend much time in the room anyways. The hotel is situated perfectly at the top of the tourist area with lots of restaurants, bars, shops and museums close by. Even the red light district is 10-15 minutes away. The staff of the hotel spoke excellent English, and were always courteous and helpful. The concierge recommended a few restaurants and the hotel provided free umbrellas during rainy weather. Overall, excellent hotel and would definitely stay here again
“Very Pleased”
The staff was very helpful and cordial. Everything went smoothly and I was pleased with the cleanliness. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.
“Hope to visit again soon....”
The location was very convenient. The hotel was comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and pleasant at all times.
“Best Place to Stay in Amsterdam”
We stayed at this hotel 2 months ago. It has a great location, really close to the Central Train Station (5 min walk!), there is a tram stop close to it and all kind of shops, cofees, restaurant etc. The main streets and city attractions are about 10 min by walk. The room was quite small but nice and clean. The staff was nice and helpfull. The only thing to mention is that breakfast was not included in the room price and cost too much, but there are lots of place to have breakfast at the area.
“Amsterdam's best”
Nice hotel but the room was kind of small. but again thats how it is in Europe. also no free wi-fi and swimming pool. well located and public transport is easily accessible from there. clean and well maintained.

Dam Square - Central Station, Amsterdam, Netherlands: The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century). The oldest part of town, Oude Zijde, is famous for its Red Light District, but the University and the docks bring a different kind of colour and buzz to the narrow streets. Dont miss the Oude Kerk, the Amstelkring Museum or the paintings in the Amsterdams Historisch Museum.
