“Wonderful location in center of Amsterdam.”

The Swissotel is in the center of Amsterdam, next to Dam Square, a 10 minute walk to the train station, a 15 minute walk to the floating flower market, close to great shopping, restaurants, museums. The front desk was very pleasant and accomodating,the room was clean and comfortable.They left mints on your pillow every night. There was a coffe/espresso maker in the room, along w/cups and saucers. The only complaint we had was that the room need more ligting. The location is perfect. you are at the center of everything, yet we had no noise at night. I higly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!

“All I Was Hoping For”

Location can't be beat. The free use of computers was a rare treat. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. This was the second time I have stayed here and will definitely stay again.

The Swissôtel Amsterdam is superb, ideally situated for Dam Square, the staff are very friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the views overlooked the square itself are reserved for the suites but we were rarely in our room so it did not matter. We are looking to go back say early Feb 08 and will be booking there again.

a really clean hotel, very friendly staff. i would definatly stay there again. its is only a 10 minute walk from the central train station and then in the heart of amsterdam, so is easy to explore from.

Great location, right beside Dam Square yet still managed to be quiet in the room. Courteous and helpful staff, and very comfortable room. Plenty of local eateries and bars.

Hotel is a 7 minute walk from Centraal Station, next to Dam Square (20 minute train ride from Schipol). Hotel is comfortable, feels secure and the staff are friendly. Remember to put the Do Not Disturb notice outside your room otherwise you can be woken at 6.30am by overeager cleaning staff. I will definitely stay here again.
