“Would love to go back!”

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend stay. We loved the fact that the free shuttle to the airport could be used as muchas you liked. This was how we got into the city centre as the shuttle took you to the trains etc. The hotel itself was lovely and exceeded our expectations although we found the breakfast really expensive. It was lovely but they had no cheaper option which would have been nice. Would definatly go back again.

Wonderful free shuttle bus from,to airport every 40 minutes. First one FROM AIRPORT is 06.20 hrs. Last one is 23.20 hrs. First one FROM HOTEL is 06.00 hrs. Last one is 23.20 hrs. Even though alongside busy A4 and airport flight path, no noise,we even slept with our patio door open. Beds very comfortable. Room modern,clean,large. Bathroom with separate shower cubicle + powerful hand held shower over bath. Nice large indoor swimming pool. Hotel pictures on web accurate. By car from airport (driving south) Turn off at Exit 4 (Alphen a d Rijn, Nieuw Vennep). Cross the A4 and turn back onto it, as though going back to Amsterdam. Take exit P,Den Ruygen Hoek, ie you drive past hotel on A4 (going south), then come off A4 at slip road and back onto A4 (now going north),just be prepared as could be confusing for UK drivers not used to driving in Europe. Did not eat in hotel due to heavy schedule, but evening meal prices seemed fair, breakfast expensive I thought. Within walking distance (in same complex) is Kentucky Fried Chicken, BBQ Grill, FEBO sandwich bar, and great Shell Garage selling best hot chocolate, coffee, cheap, plus good sandwich selection, also usual cold drinks etc. If you dont mind an airport hotel you wont go wrong with this one, but take into account extra costs of getting from airport into Amsterdam by train (15 minutes journey time), although this is cheap by UK standards and extremely reliable. I think 4* rating is correct.

“Good solid hotel - definite recommend”

We stayed here for only one night as we flew in from Prague late in the day and were leaving via train for Paris from Schipol the next morning - wanted something close to the airport. Their shuttle to the airport was very efficient (but be warned that you need to make a reservation to ensure a seat going from the hotel to the airport especially first thing in the morning). A little far from Amsterdam if you were going to spend much time in the city - for us anyway although you could do it by using their shuttle and one train to the city center. Definite recommend this hotel

“Hotel A4”

Excellent hotel.Expensive but value for money. Free airport shuttle and easy acess to Amsterdam city makes it economical as a base. Compared to the cost of city centre hotels it does make sense to stay here even if you're there to do the Amsterdam tourist tours. Styayed here frequently and the standard stays constant.

“Hotel Schiphol A4”

fantastict hotel had room 312 nice big bed and 50" tv. did'nt have any thing to eat in hotel as the Motorway service station across the car park is really cheap 6 euros for breakfast. and 11 euros for all you can eat evening meal. Will be visiting this hotel again very soon. Only bad point is the free bus to/from the Airport running every 40 minutes. but then it is free

“Very Nice Hotel”

The only thing that sucks about this place is the last shuttle runs around 11 at night, so its basically impossible if you wanna stay out late.. unless you wanna spend all your money on a cab. The hotel is gorgeous though and has a very friendly staff. I would stay here again if it were closer to the city.

very nice hotel with very nice breakfast It does take a while to get downtown as you need to take their shuttle to the airport and then catch the train downtown. If you want to stay out late this is bad as the last shuttle goes at 11:40. The other choice is to take a cab from downtown but that runs about 50 euros.

“Lovely hotel - but expensive to eat there!”

The Hotel was lovely - very clean and well kept. The rooms were spacious with a balcony and the bathroom had a full size bath and a separate shower. The swimming poool was indoors and it was very pleasant and quite big for a hotel size. The courtesy bus was large and frequent and it was easy to get to Schipol and then take a train to Amsterdam Central. Breakfast was expensive and so were the evening meals - however opposite the Hotel is a KFC and other motorway stop over restaurants.

“Convenience”

Free Shuttle Bus to and from the airport every 40 minutes from dawn to almost midnight is a great convenience, connecting to a great, inexpensive, underground railroad system to "everywhere". Also a variety of restaurants across the parking lot are great.
