We stayed at this hotel for two nights (2.5 days) in Amsterdam. The convenience of the hotel is really nice, everyone knows how to get to the Flower Market (which is just a 10 second walk). Everything is within walking distance from the train station to tourist attractions. Staff also will hold onto your luggage after you check out until 8:00pm. The rooms were very tiny, and is standard for two single beds. Rooms also came with a tiny fridge and a shampoo/body wash dispenser in the shower - but no telephone or clock. One thing to mention though is there is a night club right next to the hotel which a bit loud on the weekend. If you're a sound sleeper it shouldn't be a problem. Ultimately, for the price and convenience I would stay at this hotel again.

Clean and well locatedPosted Mar 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our experienc at waterfront was decent. It had Clean room and toilets and its location was very good. The room we got was extremely small, there was practically no place to walk and the staircase was pathetic. So if you can't carry weight or have big suitcases this hotel ain't for you. Cause its a nightmare to take your suitcase upstairs. Apart from that our experience of the hotel was good.

Really enjoyed our stay here , staff were extremely friendly . The room was clean and was exactly what you expected for the price . The stairs are very steep . Would come back again but would ask for a room on the ground floor.

Basic hotel, central location, value for moneyPosted May 7, 2012
Pros: helpful and friendly staff
Location: centrally located, but still nice and quiet at night
If you want a basic hotel close to the city centre for a budget price this fits the bill. I arrived quite late, walked from the central station (20min walk) felt perfectly safe, to this hotel. The staff were very helpful giving me directions from where i was and things to do. The room was basic, but clean and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep after travelling. It is a no frills kind of place, but if thats what you need then I would recommend.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!Posted May 3, 2012 on Hotels.com
Firsly the pictures displayed on the website of the front of the building must have been taken some time ago as it looks very different now. The location of this hotel is good but that does not make up for what the hotel itself lacks! The stairs are narrow and make it impossible to bring large suitcases up them. When we opened the door to our room I almost cried! The room could barely fit the bed in it never mind the wardrobe and with our suitcases we were unable to move around the room. Our view was of a graffitied brick wall and worst of all the hotel is next to a night club which when we stayed played music which shook the whole building until 5 am this is conveniently not mentioned any where on the website! The bathroom was dirty and we didn't even want to go near the shower! So after an uncomfortable sleepless night we were very happy to be leaving. The staff were very nice but this didn't make our stay any better! I would never go near this hotel again and I urge others not to aswell.

Not what it seemsPosted Aug 27, 2011 on Hotels.com
My friend and I stayed here on a visit to amsterdam after reading the reviews we thought we had made the right choice. Before I contuine the staff were friendly and some what helpful. Nothing extra for the guests no coffee etc. The stairs are steep but managable if you have a little bag and flat shoes. The reviews said nice rooms... Well when we opened our door I was shocked with the room it's self was so dirty but being late at night we stayed only to wake up with bites all over our bodys, behind the toilet looked like something was growing. wires were exposed, hair and stuff? In both side tables . I do not and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

DONT STAY IN THIS HORIBBLE HOTELPosted Mar 24, 2010
This is the WORST hotel ever - strong recommendation not to stay here. We’ve travelled a lot in Europe lately and booked hotels on Expedia a number of times but this was an absolute nightmare of a place. In fact we moved out of the hotel and stayed in another place. The hotel is absolutely filthy - the room and bathroom was in a deplorable condition, carpets not cleaned, stains on the wall and curtains. Very poor hygiene standards – definitely not fit for human habitation! The room was very small in size - essentially only room for the beds and no place even to keep your luggage. You have to walk sideways to get anywhere in the room. There was no hot water in the tiny shower. The hotel manager is extremely rude and nasty. The woman has no idea on how to run a hotel. She is just ripping people off and is extremely unhelpful. Don’t trust the photographs as they are extremely misleading - our room was nothing like the picture (and we even saw some other rooms while walking to ours) BOTTOM LINE – DON’T STAY IN THIS HOTEL FOR SURE.
