“Amsterdam day”
Hotel was in a great, central location to walk around all of Amsterdam. Rooms are a little small, but wasn't in the room long enough.
“Will stay here again”
The Westcord is in a prime location - very close to Central Station and any tourist location you can imagine. It was so easy to get around Amsterdam while staying at this central hotel. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff could not have been more helpful. Wonderful stay in Amsterdam!
“Convenient”
This hotel was conveniently located for walking thru the Red Light District. And I expected a small room but I wasn't ready for that small a room! A one night stay was enough.
“Good reasonable option to stay in Amsterdam center”
Location of the hotel is very good on the quiet and good renovated street without crowded tourists and souvenir shops, just one stop by tram from Central station and one stop to Dum square. You could manage your departure time as you want as it takes just 10 minutes walking to Central station and 20 minutes by train to get Amsterdam airport. It is 3 star hotel managed by professionals, the restaurant serves the breakfast only and very good quality of food. No room service by you could by the sandwiches, snacks and drinks in the lobby 24h. The Wi-Fi internet access is complementary, and it is very good! The connection is easiest and good. The hotel is not small, so it is also positive, as they have enough staff for the service. The condition of the room and furniture is good, but the room is not big, the bathroom made as a glass cabin in the corner of the room with matt glass walls; It looks cool. The condition of the sanitary ware is good. But you would be unhappy if you stay in the room without any view from the window. It is absolutely boring. I asked to change the room as when I saw the first one offered to me. The manager was very kind and I got very nice room with perfect view to the main street and open air restaurant corner. So ask room on the 4-th floor with good view and you enjoy your stay and save money
“miniature room”
Room was tiny. I reserved two twin beds for two men and got two twin beds on a single foundation. That's too close for even the best of friends although we decided to make the best of it. The bathroom was in the bedroom, separated only by glass walls so you got the full benefit of your roommates use of it. However the hotel was attractive and clean and had a good staff and had a wonderful breakfast for extra money. I think the room was OK for a single person only.
“Small, dark, & airless”
Hotel rooms are extremely tiny (3inches between foot of bed and wall), lights are so dim that even with the best eyesight you can not read after dusk (25 watt bulbs in all fixtures), windows can not be opened and thermostat controls were locked so you can not get as much as a fan turned on to circulate the stale air. Would not recommend. Definitely not worth it for the price!
“Very Pleasant Surprise”
If I had to complain about anything, it would be the fact that you can hear every room door close with a bang. Especially annoying at night while trying to sleep. Otherwise it was a very nice, very clean and a very accommodating hotel. I've stayed across the street at the Avenue, which is more expensive (but includes a nice breakfast) and is also very nice. People have complained about the small rooms. Welcome to Europe. They complained about the bathroom. Other than poor lighting it was full sized and just fine. The shower was great! Next time we go to Amsterdam we'll have to make a tough decision as to where to stay.
“Lovely hotel for couples”
A lovely central based hotel with a glas bathroom, pretty nice! The room however is not very big, no way you can walk past if someone is sitting at the desk.
“Enjoying Amsterdam a lot!”
Very nice housing service!
“Nice location”
The hotel was pretty good. Very close to central train station and all inner city activities. Some good shops near by and right on the tram line. Room was cozy but nice and bathroom very interesting with the all glass walls.

Dam Square - Central Station, Amsterdam, Netherlands: The bustling heart of Amsterdam, this district attracts hordes of visitors teeming from Centraal Station to Dam Square and its beautiful Nieuwe Kerk (14th-century).
