Not a B&BPosted Aug 4, 2014
Three large barking dogs that are unleashed. You stay in a room directly in their home with no separate entrance. Dirty loofa and half used soap and shampoo bottles in shower. It should be warned that there are large animals and that you're basically a houseguest yet paying $150 a night. Very awkward...

Beautiful Alaskan LodgePosted Mar 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room was large with comfortable beds and shower had great water pressure. Blueberry pancakes and sausage for our early breakfast were much appreciated. Husky dog was friendly but did bark at us when we first arrived. Hope to come back to golf sometime and plan on staying here!

Very clean room.Posted Sep 13, 2013
Cons: We would like to have a little bit more hot water of the shower.
We were welcomed by the several slid dogs and a little cute girls. The room is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good.

First time at a bed and breakfastPosted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: The owner allowed us to use their refrigerator for our left overs. We had a nice breakfast of muffins, bacon, eggs, coffee and juice.
Cons: The room only had a desk chair. It would be nice to have additional seating.
Location: Out of town, we found it easily with the GPS. Located in a residential neighborhood.
This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. We were not sure what to expect. We had a bedroom with a private bathroom. The room was clean and had salelite tv. The owners are friendly and we had a pleasant conversation. It was not mentioned that they have 3 large dogs in the house. This was not an issue for us, but if you have dog allergies it could be a problem.

Not what we were expectingPosted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
First of all this isn't a hotel or a lodge and the picture is very misleading. It's a private house in a subdivision about 9 miles from Wasilla. We entered via the garage through the family living room to get to our room which was ok but had the feel of staying with relatives. Clothes in the closet, multiple half empty shampoo bottles and used soap bar in the shower, which wasn't very clean. The main business is for hunters and the house is a shrine to dead animals, mounted heads, pelts, on the wall and stuffed bears which if you are a hunter or fisherman is great, however not for us.

To close for comfortPosted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: view comfy bed
Cons: Price, coffee, breakfast, noise quality between rooms. you could hear the other guests
Location: Idorod headquarters
We booked this hotel through you! When we arrived at this so called B&B we were disappointed in the arrangement. Our room was adequate and roomy, the only thing that was missing was a private door to our room. This B&B was just a glorified boarding house. The breakfast was mediocre, for a 165.00, and with this type of accommodation. The cost should of been a lot less.We were about 10 or so miles out in the woods and to the closest city of Wasilla. The home itself was gorgeous. It was awkward and uncomfortable to stay their with the owner sitting right outside your room. There was no division between innkeeper and guests. This should of been duly noted in the ad. This ad needs to be changed because it is certainly misleading and you're not getting a true B&B.

Excellent for FishermenPosted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed at this B&B for four nights while we fished the Little Su during the Silver Salmon Run. This B&B was the perfect location for us, sitting in between the river and Wasilla we had easy access to everything we needed. The owners were also great at providing us with a place to clean our catch and a freezer to put the fillets in. Each day we left around 4am and got back around 10pm and they made coming and going very easy and comfortable, If you are going up there from out of town to fish and need a convenient place to sleep, this is it.
