“Good choice”
Comfortable room, staff very helpful and willing to make us feel comfortable. Good location. We had a rental car and it was very easy to move around.
“Good value exellent stay”
The room was very clean and comfortable. Spacious with 2 queen beds, desk, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and the usual bedroom furniture. It also had a iron and board, hairdryer, and was supplied with the proper bathroom needs. The desk staff was extremely helpful at check in and check out. We were in town for a concert just one night and felt like we were well taken care of. The little cafe was excellent. Prompt and pleasant service. Our meals arrived within a reasonable amount of time and were hot and tasty. All around was a nice experience.
“no title”
For a budget-priced hotel, this is one of the best I've encountered anywhere. The restaurant is excellent, even compared to luxury hotels. A great experience
“Pleasing”
All the amenities that a traveler might wish for are there, but it is nothing spectacular. It was difficult to find at first, because their sign is hidden in trees, so they should take steps to make their presence more visible.
“My One-Night Stay”
I was well satisfied with my room except it didn't have a bathroom fan.
“Hotel to stay in in Anchorage, Alaska”
Couldn't have asked for much more only 10 min from airport. short cab ride. Would have been nice if they had a shuttle service
“Good overall hotel”
We stayed here for 6 nights. It was a good home base at a reasonable cost.
“Good beer”
Friendly service, conveinently located to meet our needs. All of the accomadations were well taken care of. Plan to stay there again.
“Friendly staff, older hotel 3 miles frm downtown.”
Staff was friendly and courteous but not that informed on bus travel. (The bus stops right in front of the hotel!), They told us that bus drivers give change. They don't. Also did not know that people over 60 pay only 50 cents! We appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. The room smelled musty, though it appeared clean. By the time $16. a day was added for tax, it cost over $150 per day, which we thought was high for an older hotel 3 miles from down town. Anchorage was great and worth the four day stay.
“Good location in Midtown”
Great restaurant. Excellent chef. Room was decent. Ambiance was OK.
