“Stopover in Anchorage”

We were headed for the Kenai Peninsula for a fun weekend in Seward with a Kenai Fjords tour boat excursion and some fresh seafood. Arriving in Anchorage late at night, we needed an overnight convenient to the airport. Can't beat the Coast International for that -- it's just off the airport property on the way toward Seward Highway. Clean, inexpensive, and great breakfasts.

“First trip to Anchorage”

Two things. First, the hallway smelled like stale cigarette smoke. However, the room smelled just fine and was very comfortable. Second, we went to the lounge for a snack/lunch but there wasn't anyone working apparently. After several minutes, we just plain left and went elsewhere.

“Convenient and has a great restaurant!”

We were very pleased, both with the room and the service. I had chosen this hotel because it had a restaurant attached and we were only going to be there for half of the day and one evening. We were extremely happy with the quality of the food and the service in the attached restaurant. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Location of hotel was main criteria. On-demand free shuttle was a surprise; they took me when I wanted to go and not had to wait for a fixed time schedule.

I thought the location might be noisey, but it was very quiet. We were a little dissappointed that the dining room was closed. The transportation to and from the airport was good and quick. All in all I was pleased.

I had a great experience with this hotel. I was concerned about my arrival time. It was about 10pm when I was able to get my bags but there was not a problem at all with the shuttle service. The hotel was great. It had a feel of Alaska with the totem poles at the entrance and the antler chandelier in the lobby. My room was great. No complaints whatsoever. Off comment. It was different but very cool to drive from the airport to the hotel at 10pm and have it nice and light out.

“Coast International Inn”

This was a nice hotel with very friendly staff. They were happy to store my freshly caught fish in their freezer. I would stay there again.

“Convenient to airport and reasonably priced”

The exterior of this hotel makes you wonder, but once in the lobby it was clean and the staff was efficient. My room was very clean and updated - in fact, it was nice. The hotel is right across from a small lake that houses float planes. I had read previous reviews that the planes took off at all hours and were noisy. I didn't hear any! I ate in the bar and the food was good. They ask you to be in the hotel lobby 15 minutes before you need to be at the airport, and they run a 24 hour shuttle. It all worked for me!
