“Good Hotel but expensive”

This hotel was very nice but expensive and crowded at times. Staff was very friendly.

“What I expected from a Marriott”

It was what I expected from a Marroitt and there is a nice diner in the hotel with a good selection on the menu.

“Convenient Location”

Convenient location for people taking a float plane out of Lake Hood. Hotel provided a shuttle.

“Way too noisy!!”

The hotel was okay except that the first room they gave me was next to the elevator and it constantly rumbled, loudly. They moved me to another room, which was nice enough, except that somebody in the room above me tromped around until 2 AM and was up again about 5:30. Add to that the constant noise from float planes on Lake Spenard (nothing sounds quite like the supersonic prop tips on a Cessna 185 during takeoff!!) as well as jets coming and going from Ted Stevens Airport,, well. you get the picture. Granted this was June with long daylight and that's floatplane season, but regardless, there are much better choices for a place to stay.

“No complimentary breakfast....”

The hotel was clean. Staff friendly. Good fast service. I and the grandkids were disappointed there was no complimentary breakfast. We did not eat at the restaurant as we were gone most of the day. From the looks of the menu in the room the food seemed kind of spendy. The tables i think were too close to the entry way and with the doors opening constantly looked like a cool/cold mea and self was in store.

“Marry Ought Not”

Thought the hotel would serve free breakfast, but found out that we have to pay for breakfast. Would not stay here, rather find a hotel that serves breakfast.

“Be skeptical”

It was not made clear that the breakfast was not complimentary (until I was asked to pay ten dollars for it), and I almost missed my 8:00 am flight because I took the manager at his word that I would have "no problem" if I took the 7:00 am shuttle.

“Will Never Return”

My husband and I planned to stay here for our anniversary. The room they checked us into had not been cleaned. There were no other rooms available with a king bed. They were completely unapologetic and could not find us any other room with a king bed. We will never stay in this hotel again!

“Perfect”

Everything was perfect. Nice buffet in the morning too - costs a little though.
