Location: great location
We did the blind purchase for the second time and got this hotel. The first time the service was amazing, we got a great room and we received extra perks. This time the service wasn't that overly friendly, no extra perks and our room smelled like sewer gas. I thought it was because the water lines were dry but we ran water and took showers and it still smelled.

I was here for 17 nights... Great hotel and close by where I needed to work. Staff were great and very accommodating in many ways. Great club lounge, great bar and a great menu to top it off. Will stay again,

In Anchorage for a week. This is my favorite please to stay. Unlike most of the other run down hotels with dead animals in the reception area, this place is clean, new and has a fresh modern look to it. Wifi works great, indoor pool, gym and even has laundry facilities to freshen up your clothes before moving on to your next destination. Great location. Highly recommended.

Cons: Ne w hotel
Location: Bad
Not close to downtown and their bus will not go there. One step up from motel 6 way to much money.

I am so sorry that you were disappointed in our location, we are in Midtown and provide 24 hour shuttle service to and from the Airport. The summer rates are quite high in Anchorage but I assure you that we are very competitive in the market. I hope that you enjoyed your Alaska visit in spite of your disappointment in not being downtown.

Not what I expected.

Pros: I like the pool.
Cons: Clean the stains off the carpets and the coverlet.
Location: The location next to a row of hotels.
This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. The first time we joined the club and was given a very nice room with red and cream decor, on the fourth or fifth floor, and breakfast was included. We enjoyed the stay so much, that we booked two rooms this time around, but were given rooms on the second floor, the decor was shades of brown, breakfast was not included, and when I called to upgrade, I was stone walled by the front desk and the hotel manager didn't bother to return my call. If you book this hotel make sure your part of the club, and you have your club number, or you will quickly be demoted to second class.

Dear terrialso, The Crowne Plaza brand upgraded all bedding about a year ago, I'm sorry to hear that you do not care for the new color scheme. We have two Executive level floors available that come with breakfast and evening reception. We upgrade on a space available basis but for a small premium in rate you can pre-reserve these floors to ensure you are located on the Club level. I apologize that the manager did not return your call, I hope that you will give us the opportunity to renew your faith in our property.

At one time when the hotel was new it seemed nicer. However, it is getting more and more rundown.The food at the breakfast buffet is really poor. Juice is very watered down, coffee is awful. On our second day we went and ate elsewhere.
