Long history with the Hampton through my company and a corporate contract. The Anchorage Hampton was similar to the others. Clean, convenient, quiet and reasonably priced.

“Big, comfortable room”

Am a regular guest at Hampton Inns. The room was large and comfortable. The service was so-so, but the employees were friendly and always said hello. During my first full day there, they did not make up my room. Don't know why that was, and I was too busy to ask. It was made up the next day, though. It snowed the entire weekend I was there, and they had the parking lot plowed regularly, which was nice! The building has a couple of design flaws; the bathroom door hit the toilet when I opened the door, and the breakfast room's setup is such that people keep running into each other when getting their food. Signage and instructions for the waffle maker would be a good idea. People want waffles, but have no idea how to make them. :) Looking forward to my next stay at Hampton Inns.

“Clean and comfortable”

This was a nice hotel. The rooms are not fancy but they are clean and comfortable. All the employees, from front desk to housekeeping to the shuttle drivers, were friendly and polite. There is a shuttle which runs to the airport, downtown and a couple of other locations. The shuttle is very reliable and prompt. The downtown area is a bit far to walk to (especially in the winter). There is a new WalMart SuperCenter which just opened and it will be within walking distance, if you need to go to that store. The breakfast has both hot and cold items and the hot items varied each day (although the waffles are always available). All in all, this is a good hotel for a stay in Anchorage.

“Would stay again”

Breakfast was good; great variety of hot and cold items. Heating and Cooling system was easy to control. Had free shuttles to various places downtown and shopping; this was a tremendous help.

“Hampton Inn Anchorage”

If i ever go back there it will be one of the first places i stay, there was a mix up with the shuttle from the airport but other then that it was a gate place to stay.

“Being remodeled”

the hotel was fine, but it was being remodeled which caused some inconvenience. The hotel staff did try to make accommodations for the pool and fitness center. The new remodels are great and when it is finished I am sure it will be a great hotel.

“Maybe Next Time”

I hesitate to say anything negative about Hampton Inn as every experience has been good or great with this one exception. The Hotel was under construction, the pool was closed, the bathroom was dirty, housekeeping woke me at 6am on Saturday, the staff was young and less than helpful, there was no coffee in the morning. I hope they can pull it together before I decide to try another stay.

“Not so hot so.”

Upon check in our reservation was lost, so we had to pay for a whole other reservation and then reimbursed which wasn't the end of the world just inconvenient. Also- both the comforters on both the beds were stained and dirty.

“Great deal, comfortable stay”

This hotel provided everything we needed during our stay: good central location, hot & cold breakfast options, comforatable and clean rooms and common areas, free wi-fi. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. I loved the extras like 24-hr hot beverages in the lobby and warm fresh cookies at the front desk in the evening.
