“High Speed Internet?”

High speed internet is slow. Not very high speed. Of course all the front desk could say is 'sorry to hear that'.

“Suprise charge”

Hotel was fine, but be aware, when you arrive they add an extra $1.50 per day, on top of what you paid expedia.com, for there being a safe in your room. You pay whether you use it or not. This extra charge was not indicated when I made the reservation & payment.

“Very good for the price”

The best part of this hotel was the pool which is one of reasons we chose it. Close to the AFB. Yes, this hotel could use some updates but they gave us good service. Front desk staff was not very helpful. Resturant that had just opened was very nice. Refrigerator in room for no extra charge. Excellent parking and shuttle to the airport. Will stay again next year.

“Pleasant surprise”

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Located just a short walk from town, our room was very comfy and quiet. This was the third Anchorage hotel used during our 3 week holiday. It was by far the best & the hotel rate was more than reasonable. When departing early, the hotel receptionist was very helpful and assisted us to quickly print airport information.

“Good place to stay”

It's at a good location, a walk distance to restaurants, shopping and the museum. The price is very reasonable. The room is nice and clean. Only thing that is a bit confusing is that the hotel entry is on the 3rd Ave. but the address listed is on the 4th Ave.

“Nice stay”

Nice hotel, just a little out of the way, not a lot, but still a 5 block trek to the De'Nina center.........Price fine, clean beds, close to most of downtown Anchorage.....

“Pleasant surprise in Anchorage”

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! I travel to Anchorage twice a year for business. I have stayed in a variety of "mid grade" hotels which were clearly below expectation. This hotel is absolutely the best I have ever stayed in in the "economy to mid" class. The lobby was clean and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was a bit hard, but not too bad. There was a nice desk area, couch, and free WIFI. Some observations: the elevator was extremely slow, the corridors show the wear of an older hotel. I had some trouble finding identifying the hotel from the main street I was on, and then had to go around the block to get to them, and then had some trouble identifying the correct parking lot. The neighborhood is not the best, but I felt comfortably safe. All in all a pleasant experience. I will look for this hotel again.

“Nice, clean and convenient to downtown.”

For the price this was a very good choice. Even though it's an older hotel, it was clean and perfectly adequate. It was very convenient to downtown and only about 4 blocks from the Visitor's Center where you can pick up free shuttles to museums, the Ulu Factory or a city trolley tour.

Convenient central location. Shuttle to airport.

“Convenient downtown hotel”

We stayed 4 nights and used it as a base to explore Anchorage, Seward, Talkeetna and Palmer. It is very convenient and within walking distance to the saturday market
