“Great view”
We enjoyed our stay. Our view of the Anchorage skyline from our 10th floor room was great. Vintage Alaska wallpaper gave the room a nice touch. The New Sagaya's City Market is just a block away for great coffee and pastry (and groceries) and we could walk downtown from the hotel for dinner and shopping. Our only complaint: gurgling water in the radiator woke us in the night (even though the heat was not on).
“Good service and transportation downtown. Needs a little updating.”
The hotel was fine. They had transportation to downtown which was convenient. The rooms do need a little updating. My chest of drawers had a drawer which would not close. However, I was overall pleased with the hotel.
“HUGE rooms”
Didn't expect a hotel room that was really a good-sized 1 bedroom apartment. It was walking distance to/from downtown. The drivers were great about dropping off downtown & to the airport. The evening cookies were an added treat :-) Won't be back in Anchorage anytime soon, but would definitely stay here again.
“Good and recommended”
It is spacious, with a small kitchen, nice suite within walking distance to the downtown.
“Nice views”
Good nights stay with great views. The radiators are a bit noisy and the doors have a bit of a gap underneath them, but a good value three star hotel. Shuttle service from airport on request, to airport every hour. Free parking. Mediocre breakfast at restaurant. Free wifi that works at good speeds in winter, enough for streaming YouTube.
“As expected, clean.”
The matress in room 807 needs to be replaced. Great view at sunset.
“Good service, Good rooms”
Stayed one night in Inlet Towers. had great room overlooking the inlet. Everything was great with one exceptinon. The only air conditioning was a small size window unit and running it for 10 hours before retiring for the night still did not lower the temperature to a comfortable level. Other than that, my stay was great.
“great value,clean,friendly”
good hotel.great free shuttle service.very reasoable rates
“Will be better after construction finished”
I needed a place to stay while I took a licensure test in the area. This place is close to downtown (I rented a car) and I enjoyed the ease of which I could get to other places as well. However, at the time there was construction going on across the street. This woke me up every morning at 5 (beep beep beep beep). Other than that, the room was clean, was large enough and I slept well. I could not hear the planes overhead nor noise from other guests. Besides the construction, the annoying part was having to pay for an all you can eat breakfast each morning (continental breakfast is not included). Since I am vegan, I elected not to eat there. However, I was assured it was good food there.
“Good Prelude To Our Cruise”
Hotels in Anchorage are generally expensive. This one was one of the lower priced and, as such, presented the best value for our needs as a base to see some of Alaska before our Cruise back to Vancouver. Room facilities were good, including a small fridge. Other kitchen equipment is available through the restaurant. Restaurant was a little pricey and service not always the best, but there are lots of other places around as long as you have a car.
