“Nice place!”

Maybe a little out-of-town (not sure, could be the way we took to get there), but just perfectly small and quiet. We had a very nice bed and the breakfast served-on-demand was great.

Very homey, quiet, convenient to the airport. The whole house is spotless, and everything is arranged for guests to help themselves with little trouble. It was easy to go in and settle ourselves after a late flight, and a good place to relax before our return flight, also late at night. Rates are extremely reasonable.

Very clean and great service. The location was convenient for activities on the south side of town. No great view or woods to explore here, but you can drive a few minutes to find all that.

“This was our first experience with a B&B and were impressed.”

This was our first experience with a "B&B" and were very pleased. The rooms were clean and accommodating. Breakfast was great and timely and done individually, so everything was fresh. A nice selection of a small, medium, or large type breakfast. There was also a homey sitting/reading room. I would go back in a flash.

Hotel location is very convenient, close to International Airport, near a Lake, away from the city rush, and near by many good restaurants

“Excellent Place to Stay”

This place was very nice. Troy was there every morning to make breakfast, and he was helpful in guiding us around the area. It was also a great chance to talk to the other people staying there in the morning.

“Loved it”

It is 5 minutes from the airport in a quiet residential neighborhood with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. We also stayed 2 nights in a 4 star hotel in downtown Anchorage and you wouldn't want to go out walking after dark, lots of unsavory characters. We spent 10 days at Jewel Lake and thanks to advice from the owner we were never bored. Lots to do within driving distance of Anchorage. The breakfasts were great! Eggs to order, reindeer sausage and waffles. My favorite was the from scratch muffins every morning. Also lots of coffee and juice, fruit cereal and toast. The owner Paul keeps the building spotless and does all the cooking. We'll definitely stay here again.
