Interesting converted military barracks

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was huge. The beds were slightly on the firmer side but not too uncomfortable. The shower was very small but I only stayed for one night so it didn't matter to me. Would definitely stay here again

Lost my reservation but remembered the name called it and Bill was so helpful flight was delayed and they picked us up . Really satisfied nice birthday gift to myself .

Never know until you try

Pros: Looks great on the outside
Cons: Needs a remodel on the inside
Location: Close to the airport and downtown
The room furnishning, carpet etc were very worn out, window mechanism was broken. Room looked like it had not been cleaned. The room smelled. The outside looked great, pick up from the airport was nice, and the night staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was not that bad. For the price it was not a good deal and I would not recommend it until they upgrade.

Great location for shopping!

Pros: The cleanliness was the most important thing to me.
Cons: The bed was below par.
Location: I liked the hotel because the hotel staff, the cleanliness, and the location. The Hotel staff were kind and helpful without being obtrusive in any way
I had a wonderful time! I thought the staff was excellent at their duties.

Walk in freezer

We stayed here because they had a walk in freezer for our game. For guys it's good but since we do our adventures with our wife's they would prefer a nicer hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was big, but was dirty. There were leftover stuff in the refrigerator. The sheets and blankets didn't look clean and hairs were found on top of them. We did not get room keeping on the second day.

Plenty Good Enough

Pros: Friendly helpful staff and a breakfast with bakery muffins and bagels. The have the best coffee we had while in Alaska!
Cons: This is an old facility with much charactor... that being said, both rooms had maintenence issues.
Location: Close to the airport, sea plane airport is across the street. Shuttle can get you almost anywhere.
We stayed two nights at the Long House while traveling back and forth thru Anchorage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived early on our 2nd visit and the Staff took us downtown and picked usback up later in the day. It was extremely helpful to have a way to get to and from the airport and train station without having to rent a car! Good place to stay.

I arrived from kenai. Have an autistic daughter and tried to check in a little early. Was told no. Very old room. Mattress was worn out.
