Facility older dated and a bit rundown. Noisy fan in room, The positive points are free shuttle to airport, a complimentary breakfast and late checkout

Would Stay Somewhere Else

Posted Jun 10, 2015
If I had it to do over again, I would have paid more for a nicer place. The room pretty much matched the exterior, inferior workmanship installed vinyl siding. I personally have not had good luck with Wyndham properties. Not sure at what price range a person gets a good one. Room was questionable enough to pull back the sheets and check for bedbugs. Fortunately there were none.

Close to airport

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The staff was nice.
Cons: New paint, carpet, heating systems.
Location: It's close to the airport.
The desk clerk was very nice. The bed was clean and the shower warm. However the room smelled musty, the heater/AC was very loud. I turned mine off and the temperature was fine, however the heaters in the neighboring rooms were so loud, I could still hear them. The breakfast was minimal.

All I needed was a clean bathroom/comfortable bed

This hotel has both. Not interesting but has the very welcome basics when you are arriving after midnight from a very long series of flights. Good value.

Comfortable motel for the price.

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: location price staff
Cons: rooms need to be updated basic kitchen utensils should be available
Location: easy commute to the airport and most everything in Anchorage.
I stayed one night at this motel on a recent vacation in Alaska. The motel is easy to find, close to the airport, and easy to maneuver around Anchorage from. My room was extraordinarily spacious - but sparse. The room appeared clean but was outdated and although there was a full kitchen, there were no kitchen utensils or dishes. That said, the price is very reasonable and the staff very nice. I would stay there again.

Good price

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: The price
Cons: Lighting, smell
Location: There's the coastal trail about 7 minutes away that's a beautiful walk.
It's a little run down and they need to work on the smell in the elevator-awful. The rooms could use some air freshener too. Locks on windows need to be fixed and the lighting is institutional. That being said it's convenient, the staff was super nice, the place clean and the price is good for Anchorage.

Disappointing 2nd stay

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: The rooms are spacious and the location is quiet.
Cons: The staff could be more attentive and the cleaning consistent. Smokers abound and walking through them to enter the hotel is disgusting.
The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. Two years ago we stayed here for 5 nights, so booked a 6 night stay for this trip. The breakfast is marginal and unchanging, so for a stay of any length it becomes very dull. Our room was not cleaned consistently. There didn't appear to be vacuuming done during our stay. One day the room was not attended to at all. I called the front desk to inquire about it and asked for, at minimum, new towels. These were promised but not delivered, so I finally went to the front desk to obtain them myself. Our waste baskets were also not emptied consistently which wouldn't be terrible, except that they are so small that two tissues fill them. The most problematic thing was that the room key wouldn't function properly, so more times than not, after I got to my room I had to return to the front desk to get a the key reprogrammed. This happened at least 6 times during our stay. It was disappointing to say the least.
