“Not a 3.5 star hotel”
This hotel is listed as a 3.5 star hotel on expedia.com with 2 queen sized beds in each room. There are NO rooms with 2 queen sized beds. The rooms are cramped, there are only 2 pillows on each double sized beds and there were only two towels. I would not stay here again.
“Nice room for half the price.”
This is a good room in an older hotel. If price is a major concern, this is a good option for much less than Embassy Suites but not nearly as nice.
“good place and close to the airport”
I got it on a last minute, they treated me with courtesy and respect. When I needed a ride to the airport at 4 a,m, a man was waiting on me. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants a clean, neat room and needs to be close to the airport.
“nice place to stay”
would go back.
“First Time In Alaska”
Great location for a first stop from the airport... good restaurant, good bar, great kick-off point.
“Not so much...”
Was expensive for the quality of the room, right above the parking lot - and loud. At check in the clerk asked me to come to the station, then read mail and answered the phone before checking me in.
“Millennium”
The room was big and quiet with the bed being very comfortable. The health club on the third floor was supposed to be available to all guest was not. The key card reader on the door did not work. I called the front desk about this problem 3 different times and got no results or adequate answers. The wait staff in the bar was far more attentive and friendly in the bar than in the restaurant. The hotel is located near the airport and there is a shuttle to get you to the 5th Ave. Mall and the Diamond Center shopping area. The customer service short comings are far greater then the amenities of the hotel. It's located too far away from downtown Anchorage and the hotel shuttle service was inconstant. I will not be staying at the hotel again.
“My favorite ANC hotel”
The hotel is great, but this visit, I found the resturant to be lacking service, and food quality. Both dinner and breakfast suffered, but breakfast had particularly poor quality and value of food and the service was very poor.
“Not Impressed”
High cost for old hotel in need of updating. Good service at front desk and by hotel shuttle drivers; however, staff in hotel bar was ambivalent. Room A/C did not work; window did open for cool breezes and road noise. Hotel is close to airport and downtown.
