“Very good place to stay”

I've been to Anchorage for the past 6 years, approx 2/3 times a year. This hotel is very nice & great for the price. Locally owned & good breakfast too. I would stay here again the next time around. Basic, clean hotel. Nice staff.

“I was really impressed.”

I had a wonderful stay at the Puffin Inn. In began with the courtesy van picking me up from the airport. The driver was friendly and helpful. My hotel room was extra large and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was laid out well and had lots of room. The continental breakfast the next morning was so-so, but it met my needs. The van ride back to the airport was quick, and I didn't have to wait around for other passengers to fill the seats. I would definitely recommend the Puffin in to others as a very convenient and comfortable place to stay.

“Comfortable, affordable and hassle-free”

I was looking for an affordable, clean hotel near the airport and that's what I found with the Puffin Inn. The Inn is making upgrades to make it a lot more appealing and I was really comfortable during my stay despite the warnings about "renovations" going on. The hotel front desk greeted me upon arrival and took care of me, upgrading me to a closer room when they saw all my ski gear I was dragging in. It was very welcoming and worked great to be so close to restaurant options and the airport for my stay. I really appreciated the free transportation to the airport especially for my early arrival and early departure.

Everytime I'm in town I always stay at the Puffin Inn. They are very friendly and you can't beat it for the price.

“decent cheap place to stay”

Needed a basic cheap place to stay. Puffin was fine. No extra's but cheap price. If all you need is a place to crash, this should do fine

“Comfort at an affordable price”

So I had a coupon through Expedia which helped bring the price down by about 60 dollars for our 4night stay. The rooms were clean and the hotel was conveniently located near the airport. Parking was a hassle as the lot was not big enough to house so many cars. Beds are comfy and the bathroom is nice and big. The shower was a funny contraption though...I'd have liked it to be more powerful. Complimentary breakfast in the morning, friendly staff. Good deal if you want to find a neat place thats not too fancy.

“Fine place near airport”

Although was not impressed with their breakfast offerings, at least it was available at an early hour for early departures from the airport. Shuttle was handy and efficient at getting to airport - only 5 minutes away which made it very convenient. Would only use it as a quick overnight when needed before a flight.

“Good Deal”

It's in the middle of downtown and the airport and provides free shuttle service from the airport. No complains. All good.

“Good Value”

Of the places in Anchorage where I have stayed, this definately is a good value for the money. A clean, decent establishment in a mid price point. No special frills, but clean and quiet. I will definately stay here again when business takes me to Anchorage.
