the cost is higher but it pays for itself especially if you have to stay there over 2 weeks, it is clean, comfortable, and relaxing

“Wonderful surprise new hotel”

Hotel had been open for only 6 days. Service was excellent, all staff very friendly and helpful. Location perfect for what we needed. Will most definitely plan to stay again, and tell others about the hotel.

“Great Hotel”

This is a new hotel. I went to Anchorage with a group of 12 classmates. The rooms are very nice and the grounds are excellent also. The rooms say they can sleep 6 and we put that to the test. With 6 guys in one room and 5 girls in the adjoining room, we had a blast. Although it is tight for that many people, a good time was had by all. The pool/hot tub was utilized every night as well as the fire out on the back deck. Breakfast was decent, more than a traditional continental breakfast. I will return again, but may get more rooms next time.

The staff were great, breakfast yummy-made up for the fact that it was a busy weekend, lots of little kids running back and forth to the pool. Nice location on the 'lake' (more like a large pond:).

Perfect night stay in Anchorage before making our way to Whittier for a cruise. Very clean and comfortable with a great included breakfast with a splendid view onto a well appointed garden with an exquisite fire pit.

“Fun Anchorage Visit”

I traveled to Anchorage with grandchildren. We visited some fun attractions and did some shopping. The hotel stay was great. After long days of shopping, the kiddos spent time in the pool. It was too much fun. It was nice to have such a large room for us all to fit comfortably. The hotel was definitely kid friendly.

I forgot my laptop in my hotel room when I checked out. I called the hotel to see if it was in my room, and they were very friendly and accommodating. They had my laptop Fed Ex'ed to me and I am very thankful to the hotel staff at SpringHill Suites. I travel to Anchorage one week per month for business and they will always get my business because of well they treated me! Overall, the hotel was very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake

“Anchorage's Best Suite!!”

SpringHill Suites Anchorage University Lake is more then I had expected. The rooms are clean and fresh, the staff is extremely helpful, the breakfast bar is fully equipped for a great start each day you are there. The location is scenic, very quiet and close to most must visits in Anchorage. I am never checking into any other hotel for my visits to Anchorage.
