Will not stay there again.Posted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although it was convenient, there are some problems. The beds where comfortable but the towels are no longer fluffy or absorbent. There was only one chair in the room for two. We asked for another chair that could be used at desk for computer work but did not get it. The carpet in the room is stained. The tub was black specks stained inside that looks like dirt but could not clean off. Water was hot with good pressure. Felt safe in neighborhood although noisy from major traffic lanes. Staff were very courteous. My husband says the continental breakfast was OK.

Inexpensive accommodation. Friendly, helpful staff. Courtesy bus was a winner - very accommodating of our requests for trips into town and pick up.

Pleasant StaffPosted Sep 1, 2013
Pros: The staff and location. The location was nice as I could walk to a quick mart and even a Walgreens.
Cons: The hotel could use some minor maintenance improvements and I could smell smoke (not enough to bother) even though I was in a non-smoking room.
Location: Close to airport. Was able to run to the quick mart for a tea or snack. Area was safe.
I enjoyed my stay at the Super 8 mainly because the staff are pleasant there. They were very helpful and answered all questions I had about the hotel, the area, the weather, etc. I spoke with all staff types (shuttle driver, front desk and housekeeping). All of them contributed to a pleasant stay.

Good place if you are just using it to sleep.Posted Aug 26, 2013
Cons: Renovate the rooms.
The hotel staff was nice and accomodating. The room, however, had stains on the floor, the bathroom was dirty, and the bed was not comfortable.

Layover in AnchoragePosted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: clean rooms great staff complimentary breakfast
Cons: a little more variety at breakfast
Location: A ten minute walk East of the hotel brings you to shopping centers, grocery stores and restaurants
Very close to the airport with great shuttle service. Shuttle driver, Larry, nice and very pleasant. Betty at the front desk got me settled quickly and without fuss into my waiting room. Not luxurious, but clean and comfortable room. A bit of a walk to restaurants, but not too bad. Note that the hotel is adjacent to a very busy road. As Anchorage appears to be the Harley-Davidson motorcycle capital of the world, the road noise in the room can be quite noticeable! While not extremely intrusive, light sleepers beware!
