A Real DealPosted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: They just did it by offering complimentary use of Captain Cook athletic facilities (across street).
Location: Downtown Anchorage ... best restaurants are in walking distance.
I consistently stay at the Voyager when in Anchorage. Perfect location, rooms more spacious and comfortable than the overpriced Captain Cook across the street. Rooms have refrigerators, kitchen area with microwave oven (no stove -- but wasn't planning to cook anyway!)

Great RoomPosted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Room Size, Bed Comfort and location.
Cons: A place to sit and have breakfast
Location: the Bay, Shopping Mall, Restaurants, Galleries.
Largest room I have ever stayed in. Plenty of space to have suitcases open and accessible without being in the way. Kitchenette was ideal. The bed was the most comfortable of a 3 week trip through the USA and Canada. Directly across the road from the Captain Cook Hotel a few blocks from the mall and two blocks to the water. Continental breakfast was more than adequate but you had to eat it in the lobby or take it back to your room.

Nice hotel, well located.Posted Aug 31, 2013
Cons: Improve the attitude of the staff.
This is a nice hotel, well located. The room was large and well furnished, although it had a light smell of damp. Breakfast was basic but OK; there is no breakfast room, and we had to take away the food and eat in the room. As a whole we were satisfied. What struck us was the fact that almost all the staff seemed not to like very much their jobs, rarely stmiled, and had to be asked give us basic information. Price was relatively high, but apparently reasonable for Alaska.

Excellent location and big rooms. Kitchenette nice but no plates, cutlery or pots. Only coffee machine with coffe and cups. But overall its nice and confortable. They give airport service but will not give service to convention center, which is nearer than airport, instead of airport. Taxi drivers very nasty and little courtesy and help because of the short drive.

Chose this hotel because they had a courtesy bus from the airport. Our suiite was clean and well equipped. We had a very comfy night. Hotel reception staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.
