Fantastic Stay!!!

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Everything!!!
Cons: Nothing!!!!
Location: In the downtown area in walking distance to all downtown activities.
Beautiful hotel. Newly remodeled with extremely large rooms. Our room had a king size bed, kitchenette, table and chairs, very large flat screen, and all new furniture. The king size room was so large we had a roll away for a third person, but the room could have easily accommodated two roll away beds. The staff was very friendly, personable and knowledgeable of Anchorage. They had a free breakfast, but we slept in and did not use the breakfast service. They had a late check out of 2 pm which helped us with a late flight. Great price for downtown area. I would definitely stay in this hotel again!!!

Downtown Gem

Great hotel! Friendly staff, spacious rooms, and within walking distance of every attraction in downtown Anchorage. It's the only place I will stay when I visit Alaska.

Great hotel

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Pros: Lovely room and bed.
Location: Close to the coastal walk, visitor centre, city tram tour, and the Anchorage Museum - one of the best we have ever been to. We spent 3 hours there.
We were pleasantly surprised at what a fantastic room we had. Spacious, newly refurbished and the most comfortable bed! Great location as we were able to walk to lots of places. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Nice breakfast as part of the deal too.

Good Value

Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: location, breakfast.
Cons: front desk service.
Location: Captain Cook Hotel is across the street, and you can use the gym and pool there if they are important to you.
Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Breakfast is included and is good. Service is basic but if you just want a nice and quite place to stay you wouldn't care. Good value for the money.

A Real Deal

Posted Feb 6, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: They just did it by offering complimentary use of Captain Cook athletic facilities (across street).
Location: Downtown Anchorage ... best restaurants are in walking distance.
I consistently stay at the Voyager when in Anchorage. Perfect location, rooms more spacious and comfortable than the overpriced Captain Cook across the street. Rooms have refrigerators, kitchen area with microwave oven (no stove -- but wasn't planning to cook anyway!)

Great Room

Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Room Size, Bed Comfort and location.
Cons: A place to sit and have breakfast
Location: the Bay, Shopping Mall, Restaurants, Galleries.
Largest room I have ever stayed in. Plenty of space to have suitcases open and accessible without being in the way. Kitchenette was ideal. The bed was the most comfortable of a 3 week trip through the USA and Canada. Directly across the road from the Captain Cook Hotel a few blocks from the mall and two blocks to the water. Continental breakfast was more than adequate but you had to eat it in the lobby or take it back to your room.
