“Nice room, but front desk people are rude”

Nice room, adequate breakfast. We decided to cancel our reservation for the last two nights and stay with family instead. The front desk clerk was rude and told us they could not cancel. I called expedia and got it worked out. They did not want to refund my money for the cancellation.
