Room not ready at 7:00 pm. Gave me a room filled with new fixtures! Had to get a new room!

Campus visitPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: close to campus, decent breakfast choices, comfortable beds, room was clean
Location: Botanical Gardens are wonderful!
We were there to visit our son at Clemson so really just needed a clean comfortable place to stay and it met that need. Nothing fancy but the beds were comfortable.

nice boutique hotel at an excellent pricePosted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: excellent value for the price!
Cons: nothing. it's perfect, especially for the price!
Location: this is right near campus and several restaurants are within a few blocks as well-everything from fine dining to IHOP , starbucks and fast food.
my daughter and i were in clemson and looking for a place to overnight that was not too pricey. this hotel is clean and has been spruced up to have a clean modern feel. our room was clean and comfortable and even better than we were anticipating for the price.

Nice renovationPosted Sep 15, 2014
Location: Easy access to most of Clemson
They did a renovation on this place recently as it was a Sleep Inn previously. The good: Breakfast, decore, parking, price, staff was friendly, location The not-so-good: The bed was just too soft for me. Some folks like it this way, but I tried a different location every night and came away with a sore back

Better than beforePosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: location is great
Cons: breakfast could always be better, or at least varied
Location: right on the edge of campus, less than a mile from college ave shops, right in the middle of the tiger blvd restaurants & stores.
Have stayed there previously when it was the Sleep Inn and was hesitant as it is no longer part of the chain. Booked it as the price was cheaper than the hotel next door and am glad I did. The place has been going through renovations and is improved. New carpets, new bedding, etc. Paint job on the outside is a nice touch as well.

Convenient location, adequate accomodationPosted Aug 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great location for Clemson U. access. Room was average with OK beds but could have benefited from a comfortable chair. The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. This hotel is undergoing renovations, so windows were covered with opaque plastic sheets. Also sounded in close proximity to train tracks, though trains were fortunately infrequent. Complimentary breakfast was average. Hotel staff was very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in customer satisfaction.

Under construction, but clean and friendly!Posted Jul 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Saw lots of not-so-great posts, but even though our room was lacking a room number (room 114) it had a piece of tape with the number on it, the room was clean, and fresh, and cold a/c. We had a wonderful stay, and the staff was friendly and courteous. It is very close to the school and if I had to go back to Clemson, I'd definitely stay there again

Close to the Clemson & The Walker CoursePosted Jul 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel fit our needs. There for a golf tourney @ the Clemson GC. Close to the course and places to eat. Under remodeling during our stay but rooms were fine.

Great place for the price. It is in the process of renovation and Paint smell was strong.
