Nice part of town

Posted Jan 29, 2015
The room was suitable at best. The heat made a continuous rattle. The bathroom sink leaked and the water pressure was poor. But the for the price it worked for what we needed it for.

This is the second time I've stayed here and the room was very cleaned and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly.

Not a good experience

Posted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything.
All around not a good experience. The price was way too high for what little this hotel delivered. First, we were never told the hotel had changed from a LaQuinta to Howard Johnson. The room was musty. Everything about the room looked old and unkept. The heating unit was so old that the writing for each of the settings was worn off. The shower looked nasty and my wife wouldn't step foot in it. The topper was the club across the street booming the heavy bass well into the early morning hours. Even with the fan on and a pillow over my head, I could still hear it.

It was a little tough to find, as this property is no longer a LaQuinta, now it's a Howard Johnson's

Conveniently located

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: Staff was awesome. Quick check in and check out. Very friendly. Gave us free water bottles when we told her the vending machine was sold out of wat
Cons: Rooms need a major upgrade.
Location: Location was great with shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
Tons of shopping and restaurants close by. A short drive to Clemson University. I was there for Family Weekend. Hotel is very dated and needs a major upgrade. Staff was great, room was clean but old. No towel bar in bathroom, sink was missing a stopper. No fridge or microwave, but there was free internet access. This was the only hotel available, so I doubt I would stay again. Was a bit pricey for what you got.

Et stop på vejen

Udmærket hotel til prisen. Vi var til College-fodboldkamp på Clemson University i Clemson og brugte hotellet som base. Morgenmaden var ok, typisk amerikansk. Gratis internet og fri parkering.

Adequate accommodations

Posted Oct 13, 2014
The room was adequate, that's about it. The mini fridge was noisy and I had to unplug it in order to sleep. It was still expensive for my budget but we didn't want to spend mega bucks for more comfort for a couple of nights. Next time we might. I wouldn't stay here again.

Would not recommend unless last resort.

Pros: Beds and shower power
Cons: the hotel should be renovated
Location: great location
Room is smells of mildew. Beds are comfortable and shower has nice power but I don't feel clean in this hotel. We found a roach crawling on the floor and the smell was repulsive.
