“Great stay for the price!!”

This was one of the cheaper hotels in the area so we weren't sure what we would find, but the staff was extremely friendly and professional and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was pretty standard and someone was constantly checking to be sure everything was well stocked for the guests as they came through for a bite before the big game. I think my only negative comment is that the mattresses could stand to be replaced - ours was a bit saggy in the middle - but overall it really was a great stay for the price.

“You get what you pay for”

I would suggest sleeping in your vehicle rather than staying in one of their rooms. The carpet was stained and dirty. I would where your shoes or sandals. The sink was either stained or dirty. The sink pipes leaked directly onto the carpet on the floor. When the front desk was told no "thank you" was given for reporting it. The blankets and comforter looked like they were 20 years old. Please listen to your wife and stay elsewhere. As they always say, "you get what you pay for". Spend the extra $30-40 and stay closer to I-85 and Clemson.

“Cheap hotel with loud guests”

If you want to save money and forego sleep, this is the place for you. From people shouting beside my window at 2am to cars revving their engines all night. Blah!

“Adequate”

Hotel was more or less what I expected. Nothing extravagant, and nothing alarming. Room was pretty clean, although a little outdated. Wi-Fi was apparently available, but did not reach the room we were in so it was a little disappointing, but all in all as a quick overnight stay it was satisfactory.

“Reasonable price”

We needed a hotel for the Clemson football game. This was one of the few available at a reasonable price. In general it needs some maintenance but our room was fine. I would stay there again under the same circumstances.

“Desperately in need of maintenance”

I booked this hotel for one of my employees. She was awakened several times during the night due to the discomfort of the bed and PAINT chipping from the ceiling.

Area recommendations

Same area, different hotel. What's most disappointing is that the staff was friendly and eager to assist! The other guests were a bit rough and boisterous and the room left a lot to be desired. Not a safe hotel for family or business travel.

“It was lower than my expectations and my expectations are usually quite low compared to most people.”

The room was adequate in size. Towels were cheap (very thin). Saw a roach on the floor, so I stepped on it. The bathroom was not cleaned after our day one, so I mentioned that to the front desk. They cleaned it after that. The hotel definitely did not meet my low expectations. However, it was not horrific. We survived.
