“Husa Xalet Verdu - More 4* than 3*”

Nice genuine hotel, very clean, good variety for a continental breakfast. Good location for bars as well as ski lifts. The very best asset to this hotel was the staff who are very helpful & very friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

“No complaints - definitely recommend this hotel”

Used hotel as a base to visit the Spanish Pyrennes. No complaints - hotel was clean and comfortable, staff helpful and would have no hesitation in staying again. Our visit was during the summer and the area was quieter than some of the other towns which suited us.

“Would definitely stay here again if going back to Arinsal”

We stayed at the Xalet Verdu for one week whilst on a skiing holiday. We found the room very comfortable, clean and warm. There was a bit of disturbance from other guests but you have to expect that. We were bed and breakfast and there certainly wasn't any lack of food, although it was mostly continental. Had dinner one night and the salad buffet was excellent. It's in a good location, downhill walk to the Gondola or uphill walk to the chairlift. Was a bit disappointed with the reception staff but the dining room and cleaning staff were very helpful and pleasant. Only one small matter was there was no tea/coffee in the bedroom. Not got any other complaints and would return again.

“Lovely”

We went skiing over Christmas and I must say the hotel was always lovely and clean the front desk was always very accomodating. The only issue i had with the hotel was the food which was not really spectacular. I would however recommend this hotel to friends as its really close to the Gondola however there is a slight uphill climb so this is not for you if you have any walking problems etc. Enjoy your skiing!

“Excellent value and great location”

The hotel is about 300m from the gondola, local bars and restaurants. It's fairly small but it had everything we needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, well maintained and modern. We were expecting a continental breakfast but there was actually a buffet with cereal, yoghurt, croissants and rolls, ham, cheese and some hot food which was nice. Parking was free, and the hotel also had a pool table and video game in the bar. My one criticism is that the walls were fairly thin, and from time to time I was disturbed by traffic or other guests.

“Arinsal exprerience”

Overall I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff were generally helpful and friendly. One area I feel could be improved was the provision of information in the hotel. There was no information on either hotel services or local amenities in the hotel room or on display at reception, indeed i had to ask for a piste map as the display holder was empty. The reception staff were very helpful but it would have been better to have some information in the room that you could peruse at your leisure.
