“Under renovation, but dont be put off.”

The hotel is currently being extended, and is under renovation, but dont let that put you off. We were given a large room, on the other side of the hotel, where we had great views and were really were not disturbed by the building work. The only time you notice the work is when you drive into the hotels entrance/car park. However it is well lit, and signposted, so it is not really an issue. The staff were very polite and helpful, though not all staff spoke English, so it is useful to know some Catalan phrases, or French/Spanish. This was the case generally in Andorra and not just the hotel. Overall a very nice hotel, where I would definitely visit again. The rates we paid were extremely reasonable, probably due to the renovation work, so we felt we had a 5 star bargain, and were very pleased. The only disappointment with the hotel, was the temperature of the pool, it was soooo cold! just go to Caldea Spa instead. Also the hotel is in Escaldes-Endorgany, a little out of the action in Andorra la Vella. But the bus stop is a short distance away, or it is a few minutes drive down the road, and there are lots of car parks which are easy to find, and the parking cost is not too bad, and the hotel has free parking. If you are keen on walking that is an option, but it is uphill all the way back! Finally I cant comment on the hotel food, as we never ate in the hotel, we always went into Andorra la Vella in the evening.
