“You need somewhere to stay, this will do”
I didn't know what to expect fromt he Quality Hotel, I've never used this chain of hotels before. Looking for hotels in Andover is difficult, not much choice to be honest.
The quality hotel provided two beds at the best price (including B&B) The hotel it self is old, from the outside you think its going to be a rought ride however inside things improve. New decor and efforts to keep the inside modern are welcome. The room, a twin, also had basic features, was clean and of a reasonable state. The bath caused some tension when I saw rust marks on the wood behind the toilet where the towel rail had leaked. Shower is over the bath and the shower fitting was so powerful I was quite happy with this versus some plumbing issues.
Breakfast was offered, once again basic, but the team did what they could with the setup and it worked well.
I should not that a keen and enthusistic front of house manager had his young staff whipped into shape allowing flowing tea, toast and top ups to the hot tray.
For the money, two beds, breakfast, with a weeks notice AND within 2 miles of the event i was attending. I'd go back.
